'You hide too.' Mithchie had shouted. 'The whole I don't care about anything act. Well if you don't care, why are you here?'

After I had stormed out of the kitchen, the things Mitchie had said were running around, repeating itself over and over again in my head.

I ran all the way to a place where I used to come to last time I was at Camp Rock. It wasn't anywhere special, just a log surrounded by a bunch of trees, but it was my special place.

I kept thinking about what Mitchie had said. She did sort of have a point. Why was I here? Because music is my life? Because I want to be a producer? Because I wanted to get away from my family? Maybe it was a bit of all of them, but deep down, I knew the real reason why I was here. Not that I'd let anybody know that, of course, they'd just think I was superficial and besides, it's stupid.

I jumped out of my thoughts when I heard the sound of leaves rustling and footsteps coming my way. Out of the bushes came Nate Sanders walking towards me.

Nate Sander. I had met him before, three years ago, in this very spot. We were good friends in those days. But then he met Shane and Jason and Connect Three was born. I haven't seen him in person for three years.

'Hey' Nate greeted.

'Hey.' I said.

'Are you okay?' He asked.

'I'm fine.' I answered, sniffing at the lie.

'You don't seem very fine to me. Nate stated. 'Do you want to talk about it?' He added.

I was about to tell him there was no way I'd be telling him anything, but all of a sudden I just broke down. I just burst into to tears and told him everything.

Whilst I was talking, Nate was looking right at me, taking in my every word. He was also stroking my hair, which was oddly comforting.

When I'd finished he gave me a big cuddle and looked at me sympathetically.

'Oh Caitlyn. I'm so sorry I haven't been there for you all these years.' Nate apologized.

'You're here now.' I managed to give him a small smile through my tears.

Nate shuffled up the log we were sitting on, so that he was closer to me.

He wiped the tears from my face with the sleeve of his shirt. He was smirking.

'What?' I asked.

'Why are you here then?' He questioned.

I was practically sitting on his lap, our noses were touching and I couldn't stop staring into his deep brown eyes. It was then I knew for sure.

'You know what Nate?' I asked.

'hat Caitlyn?' Nate enquired.

'I think I came here because of you.' I answered.

And with that he pressed his lips onto mine. It was the perfect kiss. My hands were round his waist and his hands were running through my hair.

Although it probably only lasted seconds, it felt like I was attached to his lips for hours.

When he pulled away, we were both grinning.

I think we both knew that I had come to Camp Rock because of him. I guess I was just waiting for that perfect moment to tell him.
