I have been working on some small stuff to get into the writing mood again. This is one of those small things. The theme was "What's That?".
Ratchet stood silently as he watched and processed the data that flew across the screen. Wheeljack had not been feeling well and upon examining him, Ratchet found out that he really didn't know what was wrong with his bond mate. The only way to find out anything was to run a full scan and sort through the data it returned. They only downside to that was the amount of time it would take to process it and find out exactly how to help his lover.
"Hey Ratchet," Raf said coming up beside the medic. "What are you working on?"
"Wheeljack doesn't feel well and the basic scan showed nothing unusual. The only way to find out is a full scan,' he explained.
"Oh," he nodded and watched the data.
As it ran, Ratched pointed out a few things and explained what it was showing and what abnormal results usually looked like. Ratchet looked puzzled as he reached the end, still nothing seemed wrong. Clicking over to the spark scan he paused.
"Ratchet, what's that?" Raf asked.
"That's... That's..." Ratchet looked at it shocked. "Wheeljack, we have an issue..."
"What is it?" Wheeljack asked walking over to join them. "What's that?"
"That's a sparkling..."
"Oh," Wheeljack said and went silent.
"Meaning?" Raf asked confused.
"Wheeljack is going to have a baby."
Raf's eyes went wide as he looked at the bots next to him. Maybe he shouldn't have asked what it was.
