Chapter 1
Two weeks after 18 year old Adam Braverman has had shoulder surgery he is laying downstairs on the couch reading a golfing magazine when 22 year old Kristina comes down in her nusring scrubs ready for work at the hospital.
"Okay babe I'm leaving." she tells him
"okay have a good day sweetie." he tells her
"so you're just going to lie there on the couch all day?" she wonders
"yup, got nothing else to do." he tells her
"you have plenty to do." she tells him handing him a list of things he can do while she's at work
"Kristina, I just had shoulder surgery I can barley even move or lift anything up or do any of this stuff that requires lifting yet." he tells her
"okay fine I won't fight with you about this I'm leaving and I love you goodbye." she tells him and kisses him
Adam just watches her grab her stuff and head for the door and she turns around again.
"what?" he wonders
"nothing just your mother will be by to check on you later." she tells him
"whoa whoa whoa wait what?" he questions
"oh yeah I told you I talked to her the other day didn't I?" she wonders
"um no huh I don't think you mentioned that." he tells her
"oh well she's coming over to care and check on you while I'm at work." she tells him
"Kristina I'm a grown guy and I don't need my mother to come and babysit me." he tells her
"well you're surely acting like you can barley do anything." she tells him
"I'm just sore Kristina!" he gets mad
"so you're mother will come over and take good care of you and I will see you tonight." she steals another kiss from him
Adam doesn't want her to let go but she leaves eventually after a few minutes and Adam goes to lay back on the couch and sleeps.
