Star Crossed
A gentle kiss a loving
touch,
Speaking words of love so
much,
A tender love so true and
pure,
That causes so much pain
to endure.
As we watch day in and day
out,
We see them laugh and
scream and shout,
And as we saw their
relationship grew,
They were faced with
problems starting anew.
They've had their fair
share of heartache,
Especially when her life
was at stake,
When he said those three
words she longed to hear,
We knew that a wedding day
soon would be near.
When they said forever
they had spoken too soon,
For soon they were facing
impending doom,
When he saw her take her
very last breath,
He knew the only thing
separating them was death.
