Maddy sat sitting next to the pool watching Lance and Harrison swimming. She pulls her sunglasses down just a bit, so she can get a good look at Lance, and smiles, thinking of everything that they were gonna do together. She learned to read his mind and see his visions when he knew something she didn't. She had seen what they would do to the mansion, and the team. She'd seen late night movies with him. She had seen him showing her this invention or that. She'd seen various naps with him. Just little things. She didn't dare look to see if they were going to end up together. She just wanted to watch and wait, see for herself. She knew enough from watching the visions, and seeing how happy they were, they would be together for awhile, and there was nothing that would make them quit being friends.
As she watched Lance throw Harrison across the pool. The three of them had been inseparable since Maddy had come to rejoin the family. Harrison and Lance had been thick as thieves since they were little, Maddy the newest member of their faction. The unknown. But at the same time this was the way it was meant to be. The three of them always doing things. Getting into trouble.
As soon as she was reintroduced to the group, Lance instantly felt the connection. And so had she. It had gotten to the point that she couldn't imagine her with him. Without them she felt him there was no her.
"Mads." Lance says jumping onto the edge of the pool. She moves over and slips her feet into the pool, he leans over and kisses her. "Just wanted to tell you I love you baby." She just smiles and pushes him back in the pool.
"Go play with your friend, Lance. I love you too."
