Rose is a hard worker when it comes to school, she has close friends she hangs out with too. Her best friend Lissa is her rock. They do anything an everything together, but things change when she starts dating Christian. They are juniors in high school and things are changing.
"Hey Rose guess what?! I'm having a party and I want you to come."
"Liss, I would love to but, I know all the people your inviting and they are all couples an sadly, I don't have a boyfriend."
"Trust me, I know someone you might like."
As I agree to attend I just know it isn't going to be good. The voice in the back of my is telling me not to go. Its Lissa I cannot not go. The rest of the day just seemed to go on forever. It's Friday, it should be going fast, hey party tonight right? I hear a lot of people talking about it. Finally, it's the last period of the day, study hall; I can finally relax and just read. I love reading it gets me out of this hell hole people call school. One more year till I'm out of here for good.

"Liss! How long have you been sitting there?!"
"Awhile, it's not my fault you like to sit there with your headphones in listing to music, come one lets go."
As we walked out to my car snow started to fall, it's the end of February I can't wait till spring, I'm tired of snow, I want sunshine and just peacefulness of summer. Once I dropped Lissa off at her house I told her I would be over later because I have to go and get ready for her party tonight. Once I got home I start listing to music again, no one understands my love for music and I don't think no one will. I manage to find a cute skirt and a nice top to go with it and I put my hair up in a messy bun but it looks cute though, not that it usually does. Hey what can I say, I'm a nerd! Once I was ready I headed downstairs and saw my mom sitting on the couch and I told her I was going to Lissa's for a party and she said ok. We don't really get a long, people say we are the same, but we aren't nowhere near. Once I got to Lissa's I was barely parked when she was pulling me out of my car to meet someone that she invited so I wouldn't be alone. I let her drag me into her house where she introduces me to Dimitri. Oh my god is he hot. I mean, like he has to be almost seven feet tall! He's a giant! He has brown hair that comes down to his chin and then I felt like a peasant in his appearance, I swear he could have been a god, or at least a fallen angel, but why did he fall from heaven.
"Dimitri, this is my best friend Rose, and Rose this is a good friend of mine, Dimitri. I shall leave you two alone…"
