Selected Poems By Tyalie
Well, after my wonderful summer in New York, I started writing all these poems. So, I decided to post a collective summary of my Tolkein related ones.
Disclamer: I do not own Lord of the Rings, I merely poke at the letters until they move. I am not making any money from this.

I will not tell you do not weep.
Night is when the stars are brightest
Dark is when the world is deepest
Winter's when the sky's whitest
Rapture's when the mind is steepest
Cool is when the sense is clearest
Alone is when the self is dearest
Grey is when the shade is lightest
Need is when the friend is fearless
And not all tears are evil.

This piece is more or less untitled. I wrote it in about five minutes, which is usually the case with any of my poetry worth keeping. I was hoping to express how things normally considered 'bad' can be wonderful.
EDIT: Jan.11.05 - I fixed the meter somewhat, changed a few words, and removed a line.
