The Journey to Hell
Set in the aftermath of the rebellion. Gale has retreated to another District, and is given celebrity status. -_-
Still, all the while, he is missing going hunting. Having a good buddy to hunt with. Then, he meets a new girl in his new district. Inusui.
Gale was given an assistant for all his 'celebrity' duties and such. So, he walked up to rudely introduce himself. "Name's Gale, you work for me now." (Muahaha tone)
"Yeah, only because I heard you're for the right cause," Inusui began. "To be clear, I don't need this job. So, if you prove me wrong, I will just bail."
Gale laughed. Inusui gave him an incredulous look. "What? Are you too stupid to understand me?"
Gale shook his head. "No. It's just, your boldness reminds me of someone back home."
Inusui rolls her eyes. "Really? Do I have to hear the spiel you have on Katniss? You fucked it up. That's all there is to it." Gale shrugs, and starts to walk out of the room.
"Hey, I heard you can hunt. I killed Bambi's mom…so I am obviously a good shot. Want to go hunting sometime." Gale laughs again, nonchalantly thinking of Katniss again.
"Yeah, that's be fun. I love killing innocent animals and such." Inusui laughed.
"And, all those people you killed for the cause." She reminded him. They both laughed rudely before making plans to hunt later that day.
-Later that day-
"Okay, boss, ready to go do some killing?" Gale smiles and nods, and they skip their merry way to the woods. On their way to kill innocent creatures. Sickly.
So, anyhow, they get to the woods and pull out their regular weapons. Gale is setting up traps everywhere, and pulling out his knife. Inusui is setting up her bow, along with grenades in her belt. They were ready for fun.
They spent about an hour shooting at dozens of innocent little animals, before something strange happened. There was a flash, and an English telephone booth showed up in the middle of the woods.
Inusui's eyes lit up. She knew exactly what was going on, and was totally excited. She started to exclaim: "DOCTOR-" Before the evilest of evil happened. Gale shot the Doctor.
Then, he heard Inusui too late. He turned to her, and asked: "Wait, Doctor? Doctor who?"
Inusui, beyond enraged, first shot Gale with an arrow. He fell to the floor, screeching like a little girl. He looked at her, beyond confused. "The Doctor is better than you!" She exclaimed, before throwing a grenade at him…exploding him into tiny pieces.
Inusui then rushed over to the Doctor, yanked him into the time machine, and flashed him into another time quick enough to get his life saved. He spoke few words after being healed. "Inusui, I owe you eternally." She smiled, knowing she put the best possible person in her eternal debt. Knowing just how amazing he is.
