This is another version of Alice in Wonderland, but told from the White Rabbit's P.O.V. Enjoy!

Why am I always late? Mr. Alastair White Rabbit asked himself. He was, once again, late to another trial, which the Queen of Hearts would definitely not excuse him for. He needed to get there as soon as he possibly could. "Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late!" He cried in exasperation. "Oops," he said, realizing that he was still in the human realm, and a girl who looked to be about eleven or twelve had heard him. She looked at him with a confused expression then hopped down from the tree in which she was sitting.

"Oh, Mr. Rabbit! Mr. Rabbit, wait!" she cried, hurrying after him. She was a fast little rascal, and her leg length advantage wasn't helping him.

He hopped across the lily pads and just in the nick of time, he plunged down into the seemingly endless hole. The first time he took this dive he was frightened that maybe it was a never-ending hole. Perhaps it was just an abyss of flying miscellaneous objects. But, alas, this thought came to a sudden halt as soon as he saw the dirt ground flying towards him, at which point he remembered that he was given an umbrella for a reason. After a moment of struggle the metal frame expanded and he was caught in a suddenly slow drift downward.

Now that I'm safe, he thought, but couldn't continue because from above him he heard a faraway yell and realized almost instantly that he had been followed down the rabbit hole.
