Clinging to the control panel as gravity and no gravity fought over his body. Hearing the sickening sounds of metal being ripped a part, it felt like someone grab his body and yank him away from the control panel. In a last desperate moment he slammed his fist against the button.

"Shepard!" Joker fought against his restrains, then nothing. No Joker yelling. No noise coming from the ship. Just complete silence.

Shepard was thrown back into a beam of the ship, pain blossomed across his back almost making him pass out. Shaking his head to keep the blackness away, he glanced around and set his eyes on the Normandy, his heart broke. He failed, he failed his crew, even now he can see some of them floating in space without their suits on.

Fast movement to his left made him look, then quickly to the right, The ship was moving faster pass him…No it was falling. He started to panic he was falling towards a planet and there was nothing he could do. Taking in a deep breathe, no he couldn't he felt and heard his air being sucked out in to space. Grabbing his throat he struggled against a fate that he for once couldn't bend to his way.

During his struggle, Shepard managed to turn his body to were he could see the thing that was going to kill him. Shepard's vision started to blur in the corners and the worse pain he had ever felt in his whole life…he was burning a live.
