A.N. Hi! It's me again! Sorry for not updating W.A.T.S...

If you want to see it as Lukabeth, fine by me...

Well, read this story already!

Luke rapidly knocked three times on the door. It opened, and he found himself face-to-face with a certain daughter of Athena.

"Luke." She reached for her dagger on her hip and saw a pearl white handkerchief tied to one of his belt loops.

"Can I come in?"

"I would allow you, but under the circumstances..."

He nodded, understanding.

'I don't mean to be rude, but what are you doing here? 'Cause if it's an offer then"

"Annabeth... Since the gods consider the titans evil..."

"Yes..." She prompted.

"Is my side considered to yours the dark side?"

She gave a sad smile. "Uh huh. Why are you here, Luke?"

"Well, I have reasons for you to join the 'dark side'."

Annabeth blinked. "Fine then. Shoot."

"We have cookies."

This time, she smiled. A real, genuine smile, like the old times. "Have you ever tasted Miss Jackson's cookies? They're the best."

"We also have hot cocoa."

'You'll have to have a better reason than that, Luke."

"You can meet the recruitment bunny!"

She laughed. Actually laughed.

"Fine. The recruitment dracaenae."

The laughter from both sides died out after a minute. "What's the next one?"

"We get cool capes that cover or bodies!"

The demigoddess snorted to cover a laugh. "You? In a cape?"

"I'll look handsome in it, don't you think?"

"Luke, if you don't continue the reasons right now, I might as well ignore the white hankie tied to your belt and gut you with my knife."

Luke paled at the thought. He was under the white 'flag' of truce, so he wouldn't be able to protect himself... If she drew her weapon, he would have to make a run for it...

Seeing his expression, Annabeth gave a nervous laugh. "Come on Luke. You know I was kidding."

He faked a grin and continued."Next reason: crazy evil laugh! Come on, practise with me! MWA HA HA HA H-" Luke choked.

She stiffled a giggle. "Wait here." In about a minute or to, she handed him a glass of water.

"Thanks." He drained the glass and gave it to Annabeth, who placed it by the sink, and returned to the doorframe.

"What's next?"

"We get to walk out of the shadows and creep people out."

"Like Batman? Who's a good guy?"

Luke sighed. "Yeah." Then he seemed to perk up. "But we get underlings!"

"Which are equivelent to your soldiers?"

"Don't tell them I said that."

"Whatever."

"The last one's the best... WORLD DOMINATION!"

Annabeth smirked. "You haven't done that yet, now have you Luke?"

"We'll be one step closer if you join us."

The temperature seemed to drop and they both became serious again. "Luke, I told you, no. I have people I am willing to fight for. Chiron, Beckendorf, Thalia, Grover, Silena-"

"Percy?"

A pause.

"Even though he's an idiot, yes. I've also got family."

"Who, the gods? Your mother abandon you to the wrath of your stepmother. And I'm family. Please Annabeth. If you don't come... he will use me."

"USe you for what, an underling?"

"Like a stepping stone."

Annabeth's eyes met Luke's. "You will never see me again."

Her eyes looked deadly calm- like right before a storm. "Luke," she said. "Just go."

Than she shut the door.

A.N. Not my best work, but... Review!

The story's also called Reasons to Join the Dark Side, by the way... AND I OWN NOTHING!
