Luka didn't say anything when Ahim joined her on deck. It'd been a long day, and wanting some fresh air was understandable. It was getting late, but it wasn't like Ahim'd had the opportunity earlier.
She wondered if she should say something when Ahim started yawning, but didn't. Once again, it was late. Of course she was tired. Ahim would probably say good night and trot off to bed anytime now. Luka also stayed quiet when Ahim collapsed next to her. Probably just resting up for the walk back to her quarters. Yep. That had to be the reason.
Luka realized she was going to have to say something when Ahim started snoring in a very un-Princess like manner. She poked at Ahim hopefully, but she just mumbled something about not wanting to disturb Luka, burrowing further into her. Luka huffed mentally. She was used to sleeping wherever, but Ahim? She'd been a pirate for less than a year; she was still delicate. She'd wake up creaky and exhausted, and sheesh, for someone who fretted over others so much Ahim was quite unaware of her own limits.
But then Ahim clung to her, whimpering, and Luka understood. She wasn't the most sympathetic person in the galaxy, but damn if she didn't understand nightmares. Luka slung an arm around Ahim, and didn't say a word for the rest of the night.
