Truth Be Told
Chapter 1: First Day Back At Hogwarts
Sierra's POV

I bubbled with excitement as I headed inside the familiar Hogwarts express. Grabbing a seat next to my friends Luna and Neville, we chatted about the Fifth Year of Hogwarts. "Did you have fun Sierra?" Luna asked, looking up at me from her dad's latest edition of the Quibbler. "Tons" I giggled, launching into details of Paris. My mum and dad took me over the summer, and frankly I had fun. I was telling them about how boring it was to fly there and back in an airplane, and Luna had started to ask me what an airplane was, when the Trio came in. My heart fluttered at the sight of my favorite ginger, Ronald Weasley. He sat next to Neville, much to my dismay, as Harry sat next to me, and Hermione sat on the other side of Luna, and they chatted about The Quibbler.

The boys and I chatted about Quidditch, when Harry asked if Luna, Neville, and Hermione would like to go visit the snack cart. The trio of the Gryffindors and the lone Ravenclaw headed out, leaving me and Ron alone. We smiled, and I could feel my cheeks blushing furiously. Ron grinned his adorable smile at me, and I melted inside. He plopped down next to me.

I was a little shy, but I looked at him. "Would you like do something sometime Ron?" I asked, my voice making it sound more like "?" but he still nodded and my heart flew. We intertwined fingers, never unhooking until we had to sit at different tables in the Great Hall. I had this stupid grin that never left my face, and Luna peppered me with questions like, "Are you together? Do you fancy him?" I nodded each time, my voice seeming to have left.
Dumbledore gave his famous speech, saying to have a great year. The sorting was average, cheering when Ravenclaws were added to the table, and smiling at Ron when the Gryffindors got a new first year. After dinner, I was lugging my trunk to my room when Draco Malfroy stopped me. "What Draco?" I stormed, wanting to just be in my cozy bed.

"Jeez, I was only asking if I could carry your trunk for you!" Draco said, holding his hands up in mock surrender. I grinned. "Well then, I suppose so." I said in a fake cross tone, folding my arms over one another. It was his turn to smile at me, and he leaned forward. He stopped before reaching my mouth. "Is this okay?" He asked in a surprisingly cozy tone. I nodded, forgetting about Ron, and we kissed as fireworks went off in my head. He helped me with my trunk and we chatted, unaware Ron was just around the corner, flowers at his side, tears forming in his eyes. He blinked them away, and walked back to his room, crying silently , heartbroken.
