Screw Martyrs
She's willing to sacrifice everything for him. But if she stays, the boy knows she'll regret it.
She's thinking with her heart, not her head. Nothing she ever does is rational at all!
So why can't he scare her away? Why is he so bent up on keeping her?
Because she's the light to his darkness, the one who can take away his pains and sorrows.
Without her, his life is meaningless. So he can't help but be selfish.
'Screw being a martyr,' the boy thinks. 'Self-sacrifice is overrated anyway.'
Good or bad, he'll face the consequences when they come.
