What If People Changed…Poem

Author's note: Well this is a poem that ties in with my story. I kind of suck at writing poetry but here it is anyway. It is a poem that goes back and forth between Harry and Hermione. Also I know that Harry seems a lot like Draco here but read the title. R/R Thanks much!

Things seem to be much different
Without you at my side,
Without the sweet voice
In which my heart relied.

I'm sorry that I left you
But I felt the need to flee,
You're the one who changed
From the person you use to be.

I sat and wondered
Just what I did wrong,
To make you leave
From someone you said you "loved" so long.

You weren't as carefree
Weren't as fun,
I'm sorry my love
You made me run.

I changed I grew up
I know that's new to you,
We will be out on our own soon
Maybe you should grow up too.

I hope this doesn't ruin our friendship
We can still have our flings,
Nothing will be different
Ginny knows not a thing.

I know I must move on
Find someone new somehow,
To this I will give a change
To this I take a vow.

I know you still love me
I know you want me back,
I know I'm the thing you need
The one thing that you lack.

So now Harry I am letting go
To my tears and to your lies,
So long farewell
To you goodbye.

You will come back
You always do,
Maybe then I'll keep you
Cause I need you too.
