Cold air rushed along Swoop's dark ginger fur as the eagle, bleeding, carried her away from the Tribe, the intruders, and all she had ever known. Blood seeped out of her back where the giant bird's claws dug into her back. She let out another desperate yowl as the cats that were quickly disappearing out of sight stood in agony, watching her disappear. Her head ached from the pain she was in, and was slightly nauseous due to flying so high. Blood dripped down from the tawny eagle's legs where her tribe mates had scored their claws down it. Swoop stopped her yowling, and hung limp in it's grip, her gaze dull. Stars winked before her eyes and Swoop slipped into a still and silent darkness.
The next thing Swoop remembered when she regained consciousness was the three pairs of beady yellow eyes staring down at her, and curved beaks tipped to the side. She let out a hiss, and scrambled back. Her scratch on her leg pierced with pain, made her gasp and regret moving at all. Keeping a wary gaze on the three eaglets, she cast her gaze away for a moment, then back at the small eagles. In her brief look, she spotted vast clouds, and knew at once she was in the dratted eagles nest. Oh great, she thought as the three young chicks stared at her with curious gazes. How did I get into this mess? Swoop risked a glance down, and her stomach twisted at how high she was; way higher than she preferred. In fact, she preferred not to be even off the ground.
One of the small birds let out a piercing chirp, it's beady gaze flicking upward. The other two followed the first ones movements and noise, and Swoop's eyes widens as she saw the huge bird that had taken her away from her friends and family returning with some other things in it's beak and something in it's talons. The sharp eyed she cat backed into the shades edge of the nest as the eagle landed, not caring about her injuries as much as becoming shredded cat meat. The creature in it's claws tumbled to the ground a moment before the bird landed. What it was sent a chill down her back. Why, She thought, It's captured another cat!
