I was grabbed by the upper-arm by one of the guards he was tall and had a stylized golden helmet, he looked like one of the Palace Guard Sif had been hiding me from. He started to force me to come with him when Loki came to my rescue once again.
" I don't like the way you're treating her."
"You can't protect her."
"She is protected by us." Thor glared at him, "And as long as she's in Asgard. You will treat her with respect."
The guard's eyes looked at them all and then back to me. After a long moment he let me go.
I was escorted by everyone including the guards to a where one man sat high above our heads he looked every bit the King of Asgard with Gungnir, his spear at his side, it was incredible everything in the stories were true.
His spear made a booming echo that drew everyone's attention.
"Why is there a Mortal on Asgard?"He asked.
"Father-" Loki tried but Odin just continued.
"A Mortal I forbad you to bring here."
"Father, I brought her here." Loki said ready to shoulder all the blame.
"No Father," Thor chimed in, "I told him to."
"Yes, but would have done it even if you hadn't ordered me so, Dear Brother."
"Boys, spare me your petty argument." Odin walked down the long flight of steps right to me, "Damage has been done. She looks fine to me take her back."
"No."
Odin stared at his son.
"And why not?"
"Because I-I love her."
"You don't even know her."
"I don't have to know her to know I love her."
"You are infatuated with her," Odin put his hand under my chin and forced my face up to get a better look at me, "and it's easy to see why she is beautiful."
"Mother, has always taught Thor and I to see with our hearts."
"Okay so you do love her she will be yours and she shall bear and rear your children but what will happen to her in eighty years?" He asked hypothetically, "I will tell you, in eighty years the Midgaurdian will grow old and will die while you stay young for a lot longer. Mortals lives are fleeting they are a mere heartbeat compared to your life."
"Please don't make me leave?" I spoke up.
"You must leave." Odin sighed, "Guards."
Two guards grabbed both of my arms and started to pull me away
"No," I whined, "I love you, Loki. I always have and always will."
"Stop." The guards stopped as everyone looked at him, "Will you give up everything to be with Loki?"
"I already have when I when I became Loki's Temple Bride."
"Where is your Temple now?"
I looked down.
"It was destroyed, Father, she has nothing."
"Would you give your blood?"
"My blood; my body; even my soul."
Loki smiled at my response.
"No...no...Just your blood." He looked at his son, "Would you?"
"All that I am now and all that I will be."
"This is the Blood Bond." Odin said held a small blade between us.
Loki gripped the blade of Odin's small, silver dagger and one sharp move be ran his palm down against his blade. I watched his face contort as pain ripped through his hand. Loki opened his hand to reveal a crimson line across his palm.
Then Odin looked at me I gripped the crimson blade and it bite into my hand I held my breath as the blade ripped open my skin leaving a crimson line that mirrored Loki's wound. Odin took our hands and pressed our wounds together tightly and as our blood co-mingled I could feel something passing from his hand, his blood. My knees became weak as I fell to the floor.
"Are you okay?" Loki knelt beside me.
"I'm okay."
"We are now bonded forever." He looked at me and smiled, "Welcome to Asgard."
