Own Nothing.

One-shot

Hermione dove into the water and, holding her breath as she swam done to the bottom of the lake. She saw him, Arthur, Prince Arthur was pulled down to the bottom of the lake by a nymph. She was angry with his father, king Uther and she took it on the prince.

She knew how to swim, she knew how to save him, and she dove into the water to save the Prince. She left the King, Merlin and the knights up on the surface while she swam down. She could feel the air running out of her lungs as she reached him, she unbuckled his armor, leaving him in just his chain mail, she could pulled him up now. She wrapped her arms under his and pulled, she kept pulling until they broke the surface for air. She got him to the shore where Merlin and another knight helped him to the grass. "Get his chain mail off." She coughed, helping them. "Hurry." She ordered as they hurried. Once they got it off, she laid Arthur on his back and performed CPR; she kept compressing his chest and breathing into him. After a few minutes he began to breath, coughing up water.

Hermione sighed and sat back as Merlin and Uther looked over Arthur. "You should not have done that." The watery voice from the nymph warned.

Hermione glared up the nymph, taking a sword from a near by knight and pointed it at her. "Come onto this land and say that again." She threatened, waiting for the nymph to move. "You know you can't, but I warn you that if you ever hurt this family again, the fates will have you, God willing."

"You speak beyond your years child. You protect your Prince with a sword in your hand and you don't even know what evil out there that is coming for you." The nymph's voice cracked, afraid.

"What darkness would come for her?" Arthur asked, standing up, Hermione could feel him behind her.

"The Dark Lord, he comes for her." The nymph's eyes widen, looking at the Prince. "Can you protect her like she does you, against the most evil of Wizards."

"He was defeated nice by a child." Hermione started, knowing everyone was staring at her. "He can be defeated again."

"Without magic?" The nymph asked before disappearing in the water.

Hermione sighed before turning around; she could see everyone staring at her. "Well, that ended well."

"There's a dark wizard after you Lady Hermione and you're okay with that?" Merlin raised an eyebrow; Hermione could see he was slightly smirking.

"Yes, but Arthur's alive." She smiled up at him; she nodded thanks to another knight bringing her a blanket to cover up with.

"Thanks to you." Arthur smiled, helping her with the blanket; he kissed her on the cheek. "I owe my life to you."

"We owe you more than that." Uther stated, smiling down at them. "We should get the two of you change."
