Hinata Hyuga noticed Naruto`s depressed grimace as the rest of her own team, and Naruto`s team, walked through the gates of Konoha. Everyone looked solemn, in the least. The mission had failed. But to Naruto and Sakura, it was more than a mission. Hinata thought she was the only one who understood it. It seemed as though the members of team seven(excluding Sai) were on the verge of crying, so Shino volunteered to report back to the hokage. Hinata wished there was something that she could do, to help Naruto, and her friend Sakura, but what could she do? There was one thing, of course…she could ask lady Tsunade if there was any way to re-try the mission…but would everyone else be willing to take the risk of loss?
Sakura Haruno walked towards the park. After just failing to rescue her Sasuke, the second time in failing to rescue him, she was on the verge of tears. She didn`t even feel like she could approach her parents. The deserted park was a familiar place for her, and Naruto, too. Her and Naruto would sit on a bench and talk about things…training, ramen(for Naruto), and even Sasuke. Sakura had come to accept Naruto as her best friend, and she had even found puzzling new emotions for Naruto. But today, she was just depressed, even the optimistic fool, Naruto couldn`t cheer her up…especially since he was as sad as her. She sat down at the familiar bench and let everything out. She felt the warm tears streaming down her face. "Damn it, Sasuke…" She breathed. She heard a leaf crunch, which meant someone was approaching. Who was coming to her deserted park? She didn`t even look up, whoever saw her would immediately laugh. She looked pitiful. She felt someone`s shadow. "Um…S-Sakura?" She heard a soft voice call.
