A/N: Honestly, I was having a Shiyori craving and suddenly it became a Rosa one. And then I saw a picture and... long story short, this is what came of it.
Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach. I make no profit from this.
"Damn it!" Lisa swore as she dropped the manicure scissors in the sink, a chunk of hair falling with it. "Son of a bitch..." A large chunk of her bangs was extremely uneven with the smaller section, and now she had sliced into her fingers with manicure scissors. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box today, am I? She sighed to herself, trying to open a box of Band-Aids with one hand.
"Hey, Lisa, you alright in there?" Rose opened the unlocked door and blinked at the blood in the sink. "Apparently not, huh?" He ran her fingers under the cold water, washing them thoroughly before helping her wind the Band-Aids around them. "What were you..." He trailed off when he saw her bangs. "I'll get the kitchen scissors. Didn't anyone ever teach you not to cut your hair with small scissors?" He was close to laughing, but still maintaining a serious look. Shaking his head, he disappeared into the hall.
Lisa slammed the door behind him. She wasn't mad at him, not directly anyway. She knew that she could've enlisted his help in the first place, after all, Rose had cut his own hair for years, and he had been the one to tell her that her bangs were getting in her eyes. Not that she hadn't noticed herself, but maybe if he had offered help in the first place she wouldn't be in this situation.
Well, if she had accepted the help anyway.
Rose returned with a pair of kitchen scissors. "Sit on the toilet lid." He was serious this time, at least. "Why didn't you ask for some help?"
Lisa glared at him, because she knew that he knew why she rarely asked for help. It just wasn't in her nature.
"Alright, alright, close your eyes." Rose waited until her lids dropped and then set to work fixing her mistake. After several minutes, he brushed the short hairs off of her face. "Do you need the back cut too?"
Lisa didn't think so, but she wasn't about to turn down a free haircut and quality time with Rose. "Sure."
Rose directed her to move to the edge of the tub and sit facing away from him. After he unbraided her hair, he clipped away, quiet as he did.
Finally, he took her hand and helped her over to the mirror. Lisa couldn't help but smile a bit at her reflection. Besides her bangs being a little extra short than she usually had them cut, her hair looked good for once.
"Thank you, Rose." She looked at him in the mirror. "That was very kind of you." She didn't say what she wanted to, that he was a lifesaver.
Rose didn't say anything for a long moment, but then he kissed her neck and grinned. "Anytime, lovely. You should leave your hair down more often." With that he walked out.
Despite the trouble it gave her, Lisa left her hair down the rest of the day.
A/N: I might do a Shiyori oneshot in the afternoon tomorrow, just because that's what I'm craving right now. Anyway, what'd you think?
