"Kuvira! Please, It's time to stop all this, can't you see how much damage and heartbreak you've brought in your conquest for power!?" Suyin yelled across the battered field of Zhaofu. Her voice was strained, but she propelled enough power into it so her voice rang clear. The others stood beside her, all her children excluding Bataar Jnr, a few air nomads including Bumi and her soldiers. Suyin was losing to Kuvira, she was battered and bruised and her family no different. What was meant to be a negotiation between her and Kuvira had turned into a one-on-one combat which soon expanded to an all-out war. Now the field was littered with mechs and many of her soldiers were amongst the injured and infirm. It was painful enough to watch her loved ones get hurt and more so, watching the very city she had taken years to build, be torn down in a matter of minutes. She was tired, heart-broken, frustrated, desperate but amongst her turmoil she had found enough peace of mind to regain her thoughts and consider the situation clearly. She had to stop. Surrender. It was all she could do. If something happened to her children, she would never forgive herself, as much as Zhaofu meant to her, her children meant more.

"I want to, negotiate" Suyin yelled, the latter of her words coming off as a whisper.
Kuvira stood tall, clean and almost untouched. Her skill for battle was unmatched by anyone standing there today. Suyin took a step forward, and held her footing while she slowly acquired her second step. Opal ran to her aside, but Suyin lifted a hand, gesturing her to stop.
"It's alright Opal" she whispered.

Opal's eyes widened and glimmered as warm tears began to pool down her cheeks. She couldn't bear to watch her mother stagger her way to Kuvira. She turned her eyes to the ground, while her shoulders shook and sobs overtook her body. She too was an emotional wreck, but more so as she had fought Bolin. It was initially between Bolin and her brothers, but Bolin was winning and Opal stepped in. She had been the game changer but only as Bolin refused to fight her, claiming he loved her and that nothing would change that. It only fuelled her emotions. Feelings of betrayal and anger had consumed her and blurred her ability to see his good intentions. She was relentless in her strikes, refusing to hear any of Bolin's apologies. It was too much for her, too confusing, too painful to understand. She was just, hurt.

I was feeling a bit antsy after watching the minute of the "Enemy at the Gates". I didn't want to flesh anything or write an actual story, so here's a little prose piece that highlights the two things that I really want to see. Suyin going crazy fighting to defend her homeland, and I want to see a emotional scene between Bolin and Opal because I think they have the best and most realistic relationship in LOK. Other things include Zhu-li in a mech suit but I couldn't be bothered writing bout it. ANywAyS, what do you guys think? I kind like these short, scraps of writing. It's easier on both me and the reader. Anyways, review and comment pleaseee :) Also first piece for a while, my old fan-fic account can rot cause I wont go back to it x'D
