A boy who was hated by many,
Yet loved by few.
Had a past so tainted,
Yet was never cruel.
He sacrificed his life,
Yet we still treat him like lice.
Do anything to get rid of it,
For what they think that's right.
Yet they never really knew,
What happened before he grew.
You jumped to a conclusion,
Thinking he was the monster that killed you.
He was never a beast,
He was more like a priest.
One who would save us,
From fear and grief.
No matter what he done,
To gain your belief,
You always treated him like he was a thief.
Restricted from things he needed the most,
He grew up malnourished,
And shriveled up to the core.
He strived for your attention,
Yet you only gave him detention.
You act as if you're blind,
Thinking everything he did was vile.
You never really understood,
What he did was for your good.
