I finally wrote that sequel! From Roberta's viewpoint this time. And it's more angsty then the other one. But considering her personality, that's to be expected. She's a little bit more mature than Tor, so I'm sure she would experience love differently. Besides, she's a girl, he's a boy. That on it's own makes a big difference. XD This one takes place in about te same time frame as the other one. It's when Roberta and Tor are flying to Faerieland after defeating the Dark Faerie Sisters.
Disclaimer: I don't own Neopets. If I did, I would be less strict about romance.
It was a good thing that Roberta had to concentrate to fly Solarin, because it gave her a decent excuse not to glance behind her. She didn't want to look at Tor. She just couldn't stand it. It was too much.
He was too beautiful.
She had known it for a while, that she loved him, but her feelings had been contained for so long that it was beginning to hurt, and the breaking point was almost upon her. There was so much pain that she felt ready to explode, to just let go and cry.
It was a pity that she couldn't even do that.
Roberta and Tor were almost always together, leaving her with no time to herself to release her feelings. And she couldn't break down in front of Tor. If she did, he'd find out how she how she felt about him.
And if he found out…
She was positive he would reject her. And if he rejected her, things would only go from bad to worse. How could she fight if she had that horrible thought pounding in the back of her mind? Even if she was able to fight… able to defeat the Darkest Faerie… THEN what? What would happen after they went their separate ways? Could she bear the pain? If what she was feeling now hurt her this much, she didn't even want to think about what it would be like once he was gone.
She hated these feelings.
She hated him.
She hated him for causing her so much suffering.
No!
Roberta scolded herself for ever thinking that. She could never hate him. Never. And the feelings… She didn't hate them. Even though they hurt, ate away at her from the inside, there was a light within the pain that kept her going. She wanted to feel like this. She wanted to feel love.
She wanted to love Tor.
I was hoping to make this as long as the other one, but it failed. So now that you've read this thing, how about you click the little button in the corner and review? Please? Reviews make me happy. Besides, I'm planning one more piece to this thing, and if I don't get at least six reviews on this, I'm not gonna write it.
