''This is Eric Roderiquez, I'm currently trapped in one of the hallways in Arkham Asylum, I,-…Hello? Is anyone there? Oh god, they're coming, all the loonies, all the psycos. I NEED BACKUP, I REPEAT, I NEED B,-''
Gordon played the chilling message over and over again. He was so worked up in Arkham City that he didn't notice this message left on his phone. Not that any of it made sense though, he had a number of squads check out the hallways in old Arkham Asylum, he admitted, Ivy's plants made it harder for them to check fully trough, but they did take a look at every single hallway, no corpse.
But that wasn't the only part that didn't make sense, this was a communicator message, some guard was talking to his communicator, why on earth was it send to Jim's phone?
Gordon knew that in this time of need and desperation, there was only one man to call. He walked out the door and began the walk towards the police station, it was pouring in the streets of Gotham, making it harder to see where he went, but he knew which way to go.
Gordon lit the Bat signal, and within a mere 5 minutes, a shadow appeared ''What is it?'' The shadow spoke. Gordon played the recorded message and the shadow knew exactly what to do, time to go back, back to the Asylum.
-ARKHAM ASYLUM, 10 minutes later-
Batman walked trough the old building, plants were dying, and returned back to where they belonged. Ivy sure made a mess of this place.
He was sure to check every building, the holding cells, botencial gardens, the sewers, but no luck.
Batman walked trough the doors of the visitors center, all the way to where Joker sat a year and a half ago, no luck. He made his way to the exit of the visitors center when he heard a familair sound
''Y.. l..t.'' Batman began to ran, trying to locate the source ''You le.t m.'' He was certain he was close, until finally hearing the full message ''You left me to die!''
This was probally Harley again, and Batman didn't feel like taking her on, but what had to be done, had to be done.
Batman turned around, his face facing the glass where he and Joker spoke trough, Joker loved ttaunt him along his advent-
…
…
Batman fell down to his knees, behind the glass was a standing Joker, banging on the glass, like he was trying to break out. That wasn't possible! The glass broke when Batman confronted him!
He tried to walk towards Joker, or whoever he was. Joker didn't seem to notice him, and kept banging on the glass.
Suddenly, the glass shattered, and Joker dashed into Batman, Batman tried to defend himself, and managed to kick Joker's head
He looked down on Joker…No pulse?
Batman dropped to his knees once again..Did he just kill Joker…Again?
The building was starting to fall apart, the doors dissapeared, and Batman heard a voice, a voice so clear, he knew who was behind this
''Time to confront your fears, Bat!''
