Author's Note: Hey, guys :) It's been a while since I wrote a Vampire Diaries fic. I've been so immersed in the world of KPOP and I've only written rare TVD fics, all of which are Delena (Note to self, edit them asap). I've been falling in love with Klaroline as of late so I've decided to venture into the pairing.

This will be a chaptered fic… or a collection of related drabbles, depending on how you want to see it. All chapters are 100 words long, except the author's notes and all the things that aren't part of the actual story.

Chapter One: The Promise

Klaus once promised her the world.

He promised her genuine beauty, something no one ever did do.

And it scared her.

Caroline Forbes knew that in the deep recesses of her no longer beating heart, she wanted all of that.

So one day, in the midst of the daily dose of drama and terror and heartbreak typical of Mystic Falls, she found her way to his daunting, humongous mansion.

Klaus didn't seem surprised… like he expected her to give in. The fact – the awful truth – unnerved her.

She groaned and he smirked tauntingly yet her mind was set.

"Where to?"
