State Champions

This was it, I knew if I wanted to move on in my football career we would have to beat these guys. It was incredible to think we would even get this far. 11-0, Perfect season so far, we just needed to beat this last high school called "Mt. Ebott High", and all of us knew that these guys were monsters. No not as in really good player's, literal monsters. This school came about a year or so after the monsters were set free, and is a relatively new school, so in our minds we knew we had some chance at winning, we watched most of their film, studied their plays, practiced the hardest we ever practiced, and did everything that was necessary for us to be ready. We were ready, without a doubt.
On game day everybody was pumped, despite playing a team of monsters, nobody showed fear. We were locked in thinking about how we could win this game and how tough the people we were lining up against would be. I however wasn't worried about those type of things, I focused on what my technique would be for beating the guy in front of me ( I play as a Defensive Tackle so I always had to visualize how I could beat whoever was facing me). Before I knew it the coach called us all up and gave his cliché speeches about winning, and never giving up. On that note we broke off and headed to the field.
What we saw was like nothing we have ever seen before, a whole home section of a variety of different monsters, and almost nobody in the "away" stadium section. It was very distracting but we were snapped back into it once we realized that we were starting our stretches. Once finished, we went to our sides of the field and took our helmets off for the national anthem. Out of curiosity, I looked towards our opponents, all different forms of monsters, big, small, medium, etc. Not one monster looked the same, by the time I finished looking the national anthem was over. We put on our helmets and watched the captains go to the center of the field. Our team called head, the other team called tails, we lost the coin toss and everybody on kick off got in their respective positions. The whistle blew, and they were off.
[I do not own Undertale TM , the game was made by Toby fox]
