He held her in his arms as he left the tragic scene. His torn white shirt was stained with blood, but that didn't matter anymore. Her once bright wide eyes were now dimly closed. How foolish he was to get her into this. If he never met her, none of this would have happend. She was a good person. She was someone that didn't deserve something like this. The ultimate price worth not paying.
He laid her on the ground and rested her head on his lap. She was beautiful. He didn't want this to happen.
"I don't understand." He said quietly.
"Is this a dream or reality? Why? What the hell is going on!" He bagan to get louder until he was shouting at the sky.
"Damn! She didn't do anything! I loved her! Why are you doing this to me!"
He calmed down and knew it was too late. Nothing could be done. He laid her on the deserted ground and left with tears running down his eyes.
"I love you Elie."
