The Yule Ball
Cedric Diggory, now tri wizard champion, approached Cho Chang, his date for the Yule ball dance with a big bunch a flowers in his hands. He was nervous as he approached her and handed her the flowers. She beamed at him a radiating smile that made him warm up inside,
'aww thank you, they're beautiful', she told him, she leant up her on tip toes and kissed him on the cheek. Cedric blushed slightly and looked down shyly causing Cho to smile again. As the others got ready to enter the hall she handed the flowers to one of her friends to look after while she danced. Cedric offered her his arm and she slipped her hand into it. The doors to the great hall opened and the tri wizard champions and their dates moved forward and entered the hall. They stood together and as the music started they began to dance, shortly the other occupants of the hall joined in. After a few dances Cedric and Cho moved over to the side to sit down and have a drink. They danced a couple more times and towards the end of the night Cedric walked Cho back to the entrance of the Ravenclaw common room. Her friends had taken the flowers back to her room for her earlier. As they arrived at the entrance they stopped outside it, both slightly nervous. After a moment Cedric leant down and brushed his lips across Cho's softly, he said goodnight and headed off back to the Hufflepuffs' dorms with a big smile plastered across his handsome features, as Cho entered her common room with and equally big smile on her lips. The Yule ball had been a good night.
