The Giant smiled as he surveyed the forest from his telescope. He loved watching the many magical beings the school's lands were home to. He usually preferred playing with them as opposed to just watching them, but lunch had brought him home to his cottage this day. He'd be out there soon enough, though, he thought with a grin, eager to care for his animals with his own massive hands.
Hagrid's grin faltered, however, when he came upon something most strange. He pressed the telescope closer against his eye, pinching his own flesh, as though doing so would help him to see better. He couldn't be seeing what he was . . . but, soon, the motions of the arms, legs, and other anatomical parts made it clear to the groundskeeper that he was seeing exactly what he feared.
Repulsion rolled in his stomach, erupting in a backfire that caused a chair behind him to the fall to the floor. He called upon every God in that moment and trembled within his boots. {I've unleashed a monster!} he cried silently as the pile of bodies rolled briefly apart and he saw each one separately.
Sweat broke out over him. No student at Hogwart's had ever behaved in this manner, and to think that he had called these three friends disturbed him even more! Albus would have his hide for sure! The boy who had warmed his heart so often in the past and who he himself had encouraged multiple times to chase after his dreams and to admit to his true feelings for his friend, never dreaming that the lad truly intended both when talking to him about his "friend" who had a problem, disgusted Hagrid as Harry rolled on top of his companions, burying himself in Hermione and taking Ron's heat in his eagerly sucking mouth.
Hagrid watched as they began to buck like wild animals in heat once more before lowering the telescope with a shaking hand. Nothing in the great forest had ever disturbed him like this! Nothing he'd ever experienced had! And yet . . . Yet he found himself raising the telescope for another look . . .
