.x.Why Meet World?.x.
Why grow up, when we can live in the shadows of adolescence?
Well, shizz. I had a nice, long authors note, and my computer wacks out. Great.
In summary, 2 reviewmore chapters. Got it? Well then, let's get reviewing?
Oh. Short is my style. Sorry.
DISCLAIMER!!!:
I OWN! I OWN! Oh... wait... that was just a dream... alas, poor Sora and Riku shall never be mine...
"I've already told you I can't go."
The redhead let out a slightly shaky sigh as she pushed away the application.
"Come on, Kari, you 'gotta go!"
Sora and Riku continued their game, desperately trying to pin the rabbit, which always happened to be one step ahead. The latter of the pair pulled out a fresh stack of paperwork.
"You can't honestly send the two of us off? Who will be the responsible one?" A wry smile spread across the pale boy's face. "Who will make sure Sora and I will stay out of trouble?" A pen was slammed into her hand by the ever-impatient Sora.
Kari smiled, almost wistfully. "Guys, you know I can't really afford it? I'm already working my butt to pay off my car. Collage is out of the picture." She tossed her hair over her shoulder, her nails cut short; a much more practical option then the long, flamboyant paints and tips from her early High School years.
"What 'll you do for a career? You can't live off a Starbucks salary." The small boy was whining now, a pout slowly developing. The question was answered with a shrug. "I was thinking of opening a café with some friends, or maybe a floral shop or something. We have a lot of exotic plants on this island; I bet the mainland would pay for arrangements. There are lots of upcoming weddings, too. Plus, Namine already joined up."
"Come o—" A hand clamping over his mouth cut off the whine. "Sora, she's made up her mind. Come on." His hand dropped and he turned to leave, the brunet gathered up the papers and snatched back the pen, shooting eye-daggers at the victim, before joining the older teen at the door.
"Come back soon, guys!" The joyful cry came from the kitchen. Sora scowled. "Don't count on it."
Concern etched Riku's face. "Don't worry, we'll get her to come." He smiled at the confused look Sora was sporting. "I can answer the questions better then she could, anyway."
