1. She was a thief.
"You really have to go now?"
Jennifer laid on the ground with Billy, her head resting on his chest as she watched him play with the fingers on her hand.
They had met at the park planning on going to see a movie but somehow things changed. They ended up laying there on the ground underneath the shade of the trees talking and not talking, just enjoying being in eachothers company. They didn't need to fill every minute with chatter when with eachother.
"Yeah, I said I would be home for dinner tonight and if I wait any longer I'll be late."
He sat up forcing Jennifer to do the same but made no move to actually stand up. He just kinda smiled at her for a bit, not the grin he wears when he's tormenting someone but an actual smile, something that few see.
He leaned over and gave her peck on the lips, letting his rest against hers for a moment before standing up and stretching. Jennifer following his lead and standing up as well.
"We really should go and see that movie though before it leaves the theater. Think you can ditch Bigby and the nerd sunday night and spend it with me?"
He knew that she was going to hit him even if he hadn't seen her swing at him, and caught it half way taking the chance to pull her to his chest laughing at the surprised and slightly flustered look on her face.
"Hey! I told you not to call them that! And even if I would have been willing to cancel on them I'm not now. So too bad."
He just smirked at her and kissed her head. It would be a lie if he said he didn't think it was cute when she got riled up.
"Well you'll just have settle for dreaming about me and remembering my handsome face until monday then."
He expected a sharp reply or even another punch headed his way for his remark, but he didn't expect her to snatch his leather jacket out of his hand as he was about to put it on.
"Hey!"
He tried to grab her but she kept dodging his grasp.
"I'll just keep this then 'till monday, to you know, help me remember you."
Jennifer couldn't keep herself from laughing at the look on his face and his failed attempts of getting his jacket. He was always wearing it and she knew he loved the thing so it served him right.
"See you monday Billy, bye!"
"Wait, Jennifer!"
Billy stood there sort of dumbfounded as he watched his girlfriend run out of the park with his stolen leather jacket in tow. "She want's it fine, but i'm definitely getting it back monday morning and that's final."
That monday at school Jennifer refused to relinquish his jacket and wore it herself, leaving a leather jacketless Billy to glower at those who took notice of it.
He got it back the next day, but soon it became a usual thing for Jennifer to be seen clad in his leather jacket and him without it.
Everyone thought that he pushed her to wear it so as to stake his claim, not that anyone had tried to question it to date, but the truth was that damn woman just kept stealing his jacket!
