I actually wrote this one-shot on Valentine's Day, but I couldn't upload it until now... Anyways, please enjoy!

Love. It can be a very complicated thing. But for me, love is love and not very complicated.

I was just sitting in a chair reading a good book and enjoying a cup of tea until I heard a knock on the door. I went to open it and saw my boyfriend, Alfred F. Jones.

"Hey babe!" Alfred said before hugging me and planting a kiss on my cheek. "Happy Valentine's Day Artie!"

Bloody hell. I forgot it was Valentine's Day.

"Happy Valentine's Day Alfred."

We walked further into my house and sat on the couch.

"I got you something!"

"What is it?"

Alfred pulled out a small teddy bear holding a heart that said, "Happy Valentine's Day Arthur", a 53 inch teddy bear that said, "I Love You Arthur", and the biggest heart-shaped box of chocolates I have ever seen.

"You got all this for me?"

"Yup!"

I didn't get him anything. What the bloody hell am I going to do?

"Thank you Alfred."

"You're welcome Artie!"

Wait... Since I can't give him a real gift, I'll give him the gift of affection!

I grabbed Alfred and smashed my lips against his. A second later he kissed back. I kissed him deeper and slid onto his lap. Then I let my tongue explore every inch of his mouth.

A few moments later we released. I looked at Alfred seductively and pressed kisses to his ear and cheek.

"Do you like this, love?" I said in a very seductive tone.

Alfred was very confused because I'm not really an affectionate person.

"Y-Yes!"

"Good. Then I'll keep going."

I nuzzled Alfred and kissed his neck. Then I grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze.

"Arthur-"

I silenced him with another kiss on the lips and kissed him with a lot of passion. He was about to speak again when we released, but I kissed him again. Alfred was kissing back but then he pushed me away.

"Artie I'm totally loving this, but what's gotten into you?"

I grabbed his hand again and locked our fingers together.

"What? I can't be affectionate towards my own boyfriend?"

"I love it when you show affection it's just that you don't show it very often and suddenly you are."

"Listen you git. I forgot it was Valentine's Day and since I didn't have a gift, I gave you the gift of affection! Get it now?"

"Artie, that's so sweet of you. But I don't need any gifts from you because you being my boyfriend is my gift."

"That was cheesy."

"But it's true!"

I felt so embarrassed. He didn't even need my gift.

"But I really loved your gift. You should really do it more often."

A light blush spread across my face. I didn't pay much attention to that and kissed Alfred again. But this kiss was short and sweet.

"I love you Alfred."

"I love you too Artie."

I snuggled up to Alfred and he wrapped his arm around me. This was definitely the best Valentine's Day ever.
