This came to me as I was reading some slash (hehe) and the question just popped into my head. Have you ever known beauty? And then the idea slowly formed, and my muses poured the words of my heart into this story.

Have you ever known true beauty? Most importantly, have you ever known love?
Beauty, not simply from appearance, but inner beauty as well becomes apparent when love begins to grow in your heart and starts crashes upon you in waves. You begin to realize all the things you adore about your, well, precious.
The way they can simply look at you and all your fear and worries melt away. One glance and you are convinced you can soar to heaven in one leap.
Whenever you are lonely or sad, they appear before you and all it takes is one affectionate touch and it heals your aching heart and weary soul.
The way only he can tell you what you need to hear at all times.
The way he seems so pure and innocent, when he has seen more years in his life than you.
The way your outlook on your life has drastically changed the moment he entered it. Every day you can wake up because you know he will be right there next to you, to love you and care for you until the end of your days. And you smile, and find solace in his arms even as the world around you slowly crumbles.
That's when you realize that if it weren't for that single light in your life, you could have never pulled through. If he had not shown you how to truly live, you would have still been the stern, stubborn man with the stone heart. He saved you from the eternal solitude.
