Laura's POV

To say I'm hyperventilating is an underestimate. Sure, I have extreme anxiety.

Sure, I struggle with acting normal in front of regular people.

Sure, sometimes I can fake it and make myself seem ordinary.

But, you know, when someone you've had a massive crush on for years, is standing right in front of you, it's kinda hard to keep your calm.

I mean I understood, when I auditioned for the role of Ally Dawson, that I could potentially be working with someone with a successful background or long acting career.

But I never imagined I'd be working with a band member I've had a crush on ever since I was 13.

Ross Shor Lynch.

I've scribbled that name countless times into my notebooks.

Sometimes with my first name instead of his own.

But nobody needs to know that.

His obviously bleached blonde hair was styled way too nicely for a first meeting like this.

I get, first impressions are important,

But he looks like a Ken doll.

Nevertheless, he still looks attractive.

One step after another, he started walking over to me, a huge grin on his face. He had a plaid long sleeved button up on, ripped black skinny jeans, black converse.

My eyes make their way up his body and to his face.

A fake ass tan,

And of course,

The R5 pick necklace.

The one I gave him and the rest of R5 at a meet and greet a while back.

Perfect.

"Hey, I'm Ross." He casually said, his smile faltering once he saw my anxiety filled expression.

"H-hey, I'm Laura." I forced a smile, still fazed by the necklace hanging from his neck.

"Everything alright?" His voice was filled with concern.

I nodded, letting out a nervous chuckle.

"Yeah. Just anxiety."

He shook his head, "darn anxiety. Always messing up good moments." He smiled to let me know he was kidding around and I returned the favor.

"I understand, don't worry."

I smiled.
