Our Story begins thousands of years ago, when the world was new, and joined
with the Digital World...
The ruler of this land was half Digimon, half human...Her name was LightAngelmon, or the Angel of Light and Life...She was the first digidestined with a crest, yet she was an adult...Everyone had a partner then...
One day, a dark Digimon controlled by an ancient program, the D-Reaper, appeared...Her name was DarkAngelmon. She defeated her sister and took control over the world, covering it in darkness. Yet, one star shone through the cover. Today it is known as the North Star.
From that star, a ray shown down to the world. From that ray stepped a young girl. Wherever she stepped, her footprint was white. DarkAngelmon called the girl to her.
The girl asked DarkAngelmon if she knew who she was. DarkAngelmon didn't, until the girl took on a startling transformation. She became LightAngelmon. Thus, DarkAngelmon was defeated and the worlds separated. The D-Reaper remained...

Kari Kamiya found out, not even two days after defeating MaloMyotismon that she had a twin sister. It turned out that when she was born, their father didn't have a good job, and there were too many mouths to feed. Angel, the second of the girls, was given away...
Now, her and Kari are reunited and adults. Davis and Angel are married, as are T.K. and Kari...Davis and Angel had one son and one daughter. The daughter married to a man named Katou...
Sakura, Angel's daughter, didn't live to become a grandmother. When her daughter, Jeri, was still very young, Sakura died.

And that leads us to the story now...
It had been almost six months since the Tamers had destroyed the D-Reaper. Everyone missed his or her Digimon Partner, whom had gone back to the real world. Now, only Calumon remained.
Yet, the Tamers thoughts were interrupted when a strange new girl appeared at Takato's, Henry's, and Jeri's school. Her name was Debra, but for some reason, she wanted to be called D.
D didn't have any friends, preferred to be isolated from the class, and at lunch, was always staring at Takato. There was a reason she didn't like other people: She wasn't human.

"Sir," said Riley, a worker at Hypnos, which now kept connections to the Digital World. "You had better come check this out!"
"What is it?" Yamaki asked. Then, he saw the warning. The red blob known as the D-Reaper was about to reappear.
"Evacuate the city!!! Hurry and sound that alarm!!" he yelled. They left after turning on a new alarm system that seemed to travel through the whole city.

As Takato was running from school, he noticed D standing there, watching the expanding mass that was the D-Reaper. He placed a hand on her shoulder and said, "D! Come on! We have to-"
He was cut off when he noticed something strange happening to his hand. It was breaking into little bits. He took his hand off of D's shoulder, and it reformed...
