The Titans.
They were a feared gang in the neighbourhood, and despite everyone hating them, and refusing to go near them, one young girl seemed to have a soft spot for them. Mainly because the gang's leader was her childhood sweetheart.
(Name) (Last Name) scrambled to get her books from her locker. She knew that if she was late to meet her best friend Armin Arlert for their study date, he wouldn't buy her any ice cream after they were done. And (Name) only did the studying so she she could get the ice cream.
She felt her phone buzz from her pocket, and she pulled it out. It was a text from Armin, telling her to hurry up. She giggled a bit at his message, and headed towards the main doors of the schools. (Name) was about to walk outside when she was stopped.
"Going somewhere?" A rough voice asked her.
The girl looked up to see a tall, tanned, brown haired and turquoise eyed boy staring down at her. He was sporting a jacket that had "The Titans" written on the back in thick red ink. It reminded her of blood, and she mentally gagged.
(Name) blushed, and shook her head. Despite being shy and sensitive, she didn't fear The Titans. Sure, she thought that they could be a bit intimidating. But being stopped by their leader in her school hallway? Well, she wasn't going to drop to her knees and beg for her life.
"Actually Eren, I was headed to meet Armin at the ice cream parlour." He seemed a bit taken aback that she knew his name. "I mean, I could always cancel, but you know how much I love my ice cream. More than anything else in the world."
(Name) stepped aside, and readied herself to brush past him.
"Wait." He put a hand on her shoulder as she was about to leave. "How do you know who I am?" He asked, and (Name) almost laughed a bit at the thought of him not remembering their past childhood romances. It was something that had never left her heart.
She smiled a bright smile at him, her (Eye Colour) eyes locking with his turquoise ones. Not wanting to make too big of a deal over her memories, or make him feel uncomfortable, she just waved her hand a bit, and then walked by him to the door.
"I think we hugged once when we were kids. Something like that."
Eren stood at the door of the building, watching the girl walk off in the distance, checking her phone and laughing as she read whatever was on it. He smiled, slightly remembering her floral scent, and her bright eyes, her adorable smile.
"That must have been one heck of a hug." He grinned.
