A/N: Hello guys~ I'm new to this fandom and even newer to the arts of writing in English. Please take care of me! ^^ So this piece was born when I was searching for Strawberry Shortcake Series, 'cause I have massive sweet tooth, and I suddenly wanted to change character's name with dessert name. Some of the dessert/food name here is taken from Strawberry Shorcake.
Warning:
Unbetaed, improper use of grammar, repeated use of some word,
typos growing everywhere like fungis, may or may not contains slash (currently undecided),
the story currently feels really bland to me...
Notations:
Massives AU, slight All!27, cute and super Tsuna, Synesthesia
Massive OoCness

1. Huckleberry Crackers
Three Hibirds appearing in his vision upon waking up should be enough to warn him of todays bad luck. Hibari Kyoya was a formidable guy, the entire town was under his command after all, never mind his age, but still, even he could have a moment like this, as in beaten up and too tired to go home. He, apparently, managed to both emerged victorious against those gangly herbivores and worsening his cursed fever.
Hibari was this close to growling when the door near him was slammed open. The last thing he needed was another crowding herbivores. He could feel another bout of headaches brewing. He should have known to rest in another alley, not ane in the middle of Namimori's shopping district. Hibari glared a 'I'll bite you to death' message towards his disturber.
It was a boy that opened the door, trashbag in hand, bringing with him a cloud of sugary smell. The boy blinked once, took a look at the glowering prefect, threw his trashbag and approached him. Ignoring his warning glare, he dragged Hibari towards the building. Hibari hid a wince when his bruised foot scraped against the ground.
'' Oh my God, what happened to you? Sit over here and don't move, okay,'' the boy said, rather forcefully, after setting Hibari to a small sofa once inside. Hibari kept quiet.
Hibari took the chance to evaluate this strange boy. Ridiculously fluffy brown hair, caramel eyes, petite built, frankly delicate looking and smelled like candy. Hibari recognized all of Namimori residents, and this one is Sawada Tsunayoshi. A typical bullied students, when he attended Namimori High. He didn't go to school after Sawada Nana's untimely death and chose to inherit her business instead. Come to think of it, wasn't this the Sawada's house slash café?
Hibari had never visited this place before. The ''Itty Berry Café'' sign on the front was frankly unappealing for him. This must be the staff room and he could clearly see the kitchen where Sawada Tsunayoshi currently filled up a basin with warm water. The lack of noise indicated that either the café was empty or had closed up already. Hibari took a look at the clock on the wall to his right. Almost eleven at night. He should hurry back.
''Here let me clean your wounds,'' the boy was back with the warm water and first aid kit. ''Oh and here drink this,'' Sawada Tsunayoshi added, offering the prefect some painkillers and a glass of water. Hibari's pride would never let him accept a weakling's help, however the headaches pounded his pride out for now. Besides what could this small, sweet smelling herbivore do to him?
The room was in silence as the herbivore patched up Hibari's wounds and bruises, while the injured had settled to stare at Sawada Tsunayoshi unnervingly. The boy ignored him though, his face scrunched in consentration. Questions around why he let this herbivore to treat him kept nagging at him. Huh, maybe it's the sugary smell.
''Done! How are you feeling?'' the boy leaned away to inspect his job and then stared at the prefect. Hibari swore those eyes just flashed orange.
''… Hn''
''Great! I was worried because you look so battered and it's so cold outside-'' Hibari was hit with a beaming one million watt smile and bubbly rambles. Where did that quiet herbivore go?
''-and then I felt that you're burning up! It's lucky that I keep some medication just in case. And then again you must have been outside for some times, covered in bruises and so much blood-''
What? Hibari glanced at the basin of warm water used to clean his wound. Formerly clear now murky red. Hibari knew he bleed but he didn't realize he bleed that much. He suddenly felt dizzy. Blood lost?
''-did you know that my customers complained about this gang that lurks around? Could it be you ran into them-''
Hibari's eyes began to get unfocused and the room seemed brighter each second.
''Sleep tight, mister.''
Hibari woke up feeling significantly better at three in the morning in a foreign bedroom. The impersonal atmosphere told the prefect that this was a guestroom. Apparently he passed out a while ago, Hibari growled. He hated being seen as weak, and passing out was a clear indication of weak to him. Could it be that boy drugged him?
An enchanting smell caught by his nose, and his eyes zeroed in to a basket of breads, a plate of crackers and a glass of water on the table next to the bed. A note was placed underneath the glass.
:D
Here have some bread and Huckleberry Crackers,
I'm sure you'll be hungry when you wake up,
But I don't know when you'll be up so
I thought if you wake up before breakfast time, you can eat these breads and crackers
I can't cook very well but I can bake :D
Enjoy, and please get well soon ^^
Hibari stared at the memo . This herbivore was certainly stupid and too kind for his own good. What if the boy had picked up some beaten up criminals? How that boy can survive is a mistery.
Hibari stood up and shook his head. So far so good. His eyes then was drawn back to the bedside table, to the purple adorned crackers in particular. He grabbed and ate one. His eyes widened. This crackers were simply heavenly. He suddenly found himself very hungry, and ate the remaining crackers. He almost whine when the crackers were gone. He must visit this place again for the crackers.
With that in thought, he exited the room and went out through the back door, where he came in. The door is suspiciously unlocked, he noted. That boy must had forgotten to lock it. There was no way that wimpy looking boy knew Hibari would leave before dawn. Hibari scoffed inwardly, and continued on his track home.
Something rustled in his trousers, it turned out to be another memo.
Have a safe trip home, Huckleberry Crackers! ;D
What.
Unknown to the prefect, Sawada Tsunayoshi was perched on his house' second floor window, watching Hibari depart quietly. Tsunayoshi giggled slightly, patting a lion cub in his lap. Huckleberry Crackers was so tsundere, he thought, amused. The prefect probably didn't want to owe Tsunayoshi more than he already did. The boy took a bite of the cracker in his hand.
'' I knew it. He would not stay around for breakfast. At least he liked the crackers,''
Tsunayoshi was aware of the prefect's reputation. But when he woke up this morning with a nice, tingling feeling in his heart, he knew he would get to meet a potential friend, not enemy. He called that feeling intuition. He was surprised however, when he smelt something like huckleberry and taste like a slightly bitter, if hot spices outside of his back door. What a strange combination, he thought.
'' Huh, it was lucky he didn't check the back of my first memo, right Pretzel?'' the lion cub purred under Tsuna's hands while said hand's owner was staring with childish glee at the memo next to him, the writing on the back of what Hibari had read facing him.
P.S. I'm so sorry for drugging you, but you need to rest so you can get better soon.
'' I'm sure Huckleberry would beat me up first and then go home, if he had read this note.''
And there you go. I have nothing to say to defend myself. Writing Hibari is hard. I seriously need help. Oh my God Mid term exam is coming. and- Okay I'm rambling.
Natsu is named Pretzel here, isn't that cute?
Anyway does something like huckleberry crackers even exist?
Tell me what you think about this currently still a piece of junk, will you?
Thank you for reading and please review! Ciao~
