THE TALE OF THE CAT AND HER KITTEN

Chapter 1
Evangeline was tired and worn out from one whole day of hard work, sometimes she wondered why in the world did she chose this tiring and tedious job… the answers were easy and more hen often not, identical. It is because this is what she do best… and it pays well. With a sigh, she took out the key to open the mailbox. She had not opened it for a week. True enough there was one heap of letters all piled up messily. One of them caught her attention. It was not in her usual series of taxes, bills, missions and such.
"To: Evangeline Hilbert
From: The Blade Organisation"
Blade organization…. Huh, so it was that one in which she responded to in the internet?
"Dear Ms Hilbert,
We are very honoured to know that you are interested in contributing towards our project. We guarantee successful results. Please proceed to the address written below at 12 noon tomorrow, we will carry out the necessary arrangement."
Evangeline continued to stare at the letter. She hadn't really expected a reply. Indeed she did sent an email of interest. Someone in Japan was willing to donate his sperms. Evangeline had always wanted a child… but she doubt that any guy would be interested in a woman working in the special forces… she might as well be doomed to enjoy singlehood for life.
"Well, no risk, no gain, might as well go try it out," Evageline thought as she put the letters aside, not knowing the sinister plans behind the oraganisation.
Evangeline couldn't believe it, she is getting married. Henry Hilbert, an officer doing desk jobs at her current department just proposed to her. She had a crush on Henry for quite a while now. She didn't tell him that she was pregnant right now though… no one would notice. The child would even have the privilege of having a father! Well, she could have more children with Henry in the future anyway… she is sure that the child wants some siblings as companions too…
8 months later
Evangeline and Henry Hilbert beamed with pride as they held their newborn child in their hands. He was lovely. "Let's name him Kanone," suggested Henry. Evangeline nodded, temporarily forgetting that that this child was never Henry's.
Author's note: This is one pathetically short chapter which seem almost as if it has nothing to do with spiral. It focus on Evangeline Hilbert for now, she is Kanone Hilbert's mother. I promise that there will be more Kanone in the next chapter.
