A/N: So hey there, guys. Wow, I've not uploaded anything in eons, I know. Sorry about that. sorRY NOT SORRY I'VE BEEN DROWNING IN SCHOOL BUt hey that's over now, so I've had more time.

Apologies.

Anyway, now to explain what my new little project is. I decided to now, instead of look up and find a depressing amount of domestiel, I'm going to write it and try to satisfy myself. Just little drabbles here and there, based on a word. This one is for Lamp. I've already written two others, and their words are Coffee Cup and Calender. And I'm not even going to try and disguise it okay here's the thing: I go off topic pretty quick and pretty easily. But the word is in the story at some point, so that's what I'm counting. Like, Coffee Cup starts out about a coffee cup and then turns into sick!dean and doting!cas. so I don't know what happened there it just did.

But anyway, that's the gist of my new project that I'm going to be spending most of my writing time on, probably. Any questions or comments or suggestions, feel more than free to submit to me. I'll happily reply. So on with this one (in my opinion, worst one. It's really short and I wasn't writing too wonderfully so I apologize but wow thanks for reading it anyway if you decide to read it after I just told you it's probably my worst), and it's word was Lamp.

Dean silently unlatched the front door, tiptoeing around the edge of the wood and closing it behind him. It was 2:30 in the morning; Dean had been working Manny's shift after his so the guy could leave early and head home to see his visiting brother. He'd been working on an '87 Camaro all night, since it was supposed to be up and running the day after tomorrow. The shop had been pretty busy lately since it'd turned summer, from all the vacationing and wanting to make sure their cars worked, Dean guessed. Still tiptoeing around the house, Dean made his way to the living room, hearing a movie playing on the TV quietly. And there was Cas. Dean's lips tugged up into a smile, his eyes crinkling around the edges as he leaned against the door panel. Bundled up in that stupid, oversized sweater and under a heavy blanket, Cas lay curled up with the arm of the couch as his pillow, shoulders gently rising and falling in time with his breathing as he slept. Dean's expression softened at the sight before him. Cas fell almost five years ago. He was just as human as the rest of them now. Blowing out a sigh, Dean cautiously stepped over towards him, toeing off his shoes and shrugging off his jacket before raising the blankets just slightly from Cas. Carefully, Dean lowered himself behind him, tucking the cover back over them both and reaching an arm above him to turn off the lamp, wrapping an arm snug in the valley of Cas' side and over his stomach. Feeling Cas lean back into him with a sigh was the last thing Dean felt before falling asleep.

Like I said, insanely short. But the others are pretty long for a drabble. So I hope I made up for this one in the two I already wrote.

Okay, reviewing is pretty rad if you weren't aware. But now you are, you're up to date, we're on the same page, and everybody knows what's going on, so.

If you'd review, say you hated it (reasons are pretty fly, also) or if you liked it (you don't have to give reasons but that would be cool), whatever, I don't mind. Tell me how your day was, that's cool, too. Mine was pretty boring and it sucked because I had to clean the guest house for my Aunt Diane.

Alright, farewell. Fair winds to you all.
