It was wrong on so many levels.
The mere fact that she belonged to someone else should have made him stay away.
The fact that she belonged to his partner should have made her completely and utterly off limits. But he hadn't been able to help himself.
She was so perfect, so beautiful and so loving…
At first he'd dismissed it as a simple liking for a beautiful girl or wanting the same things – the closeness, the love – in his own life.
Then, in a moment of weakness, he had kissed her.
His excuse at the time was that it was tradition to kiss the bride on her wedding day, but after that kiss he'd known it didn't just want similar things – he wanted her.
It had come as a shock to discover that she wanted him too, especially as she was now his partner's wife but he'd be lying if he said it was unwelcome.
Because it wasn't.
Not in the slightest.
But now, as he lay in the bed next to her, Esposito wondered how he was going to go into work the next day and look Ryan – loyal, affable Ryan – in the face and not let on that he'd had an affair with his wife.

A/N: Before anyone says anything, no I can't see Esposito ever doing something like this. But that was kind of the point of the challenge I thought...
