Don't lie to me
Hey, Sebastian, I wonder if you know why I made that part of the contract.
In the three years you've known me I wonder if you found out, or if it still makes you curious, or if you just never gave a damn.
From the very beginning it was one of the parts of the contract; that you protect me until I obtain my revenge, that you follow my orders unconditionally, and that you will not lie. Did you ever think about why I would insist so passionately on it; why, out of all the aspects of the contract, that was the one I continuously double checked on?
Adults lie to children all the time; we will always be there, you're safe here, no one will hurt you, everything will be alright, we are not going hurt you, if you be good you'll be okay, if you hold still it won't hurt. These are all lies I have been told.
People lie, you are not a person. Humans are disgusting, you are not a human.
So, Sebastian, did you ever figure it out?
The ones in the cult weren't the only ones to defile me.
My parents knew I was shy, they never figured out why. There was a noble's son at one of the parties. He was there quite often, and every time seemed to be able to find me alone from my parents. It was about then that I seemed to "get sick" every time my parents were heading out.
And he lied, lied and made liars of my parents. Not that they didn't already lie, but their lies had never reached me to such an extent before.
That noble's son was amongst those you slaughtered that night.
You are not allowed to lie because that is what humans do, and you are not a human. You are not allowed to lie because that is what got me into this mess, little white lies and lies that turned out not to be quite so white. You are not allowed to lie because I need one thing in this world that I can trust; I am still a "child" after all. You are not allowed to lie because lies are all I hear.
I don't care that you will kill me. I won't care if you decide to go against the contract and hurt me or fail to protect me; I don't care if you disobey orders.
So long as you're completely honest while doing so.
So long as you don't lie to me.
