I my second beer bottle down on the table. Cass takes a sip of his just for show. A fellow hunter and Sam's girlfriend, is at the table with us. She looks ready to slip off into a dark corner. I don't blame her either. All the built up energy from the most recent hunt has me ready to pounce too. None of the girls here are catching my eye. The waitress is an option but she's not my type.
"Thanks again for letting me tag along on the hunt."
Her voice draws me out of my daydream.
"It was good having the extra hands. Those vamps can sneak up on you."
Olivia would be the perfect candidate if she wasn't already with Sam. I'm SOL tonight. I give up, defeated. I take a swig from the beer, finishing it.
"Anybody else need another beer?"
"Oli and I are good, thanks."
I look over at Cass and he cocks his head.
"Need another beer?"
"No. Thank you, Dean."
I stand up from the table walking over to the crowded bar. It takes a few minutes but the bartender finally takes my order and brings me a beer. I turn to go back to the table. Cass is the only one seated at the table.
"Where did Olivia and Sam go?"
"Sam said they were heading back to the motel to sleep."
I smile and chuckle to myself. Ever since Olivia plowed her way into the picture, Sam has been less stressed and more relaxed. I told him he just needed to get la-
"Dean. The waitress is staring at you."
Is that a hint of jealousy I hear in his voice?
Oh yeah. His entire body has changed. He's rigid an his eyes are narrowed in her direction. I can't tell if he is confused or constipated but I have a way of taking his mind off it all.
"Why don't we get out of here, Cass?"
Again, clueless little Cass cocks tilts his head in confusion.
"But you just got another beer, Dean."
It's both entertaining and annoying when I have to spell everything out for him.
I put my hand on his shoulder, my eyes darting between his lips and his mesmerizing eyes. When did Castiel become so handsome?
"Dean? Is there something on my face?"
I love how naive he is.
"Yeah. I think there is a little bit of vamp on you. Let's go back to the bunker so you can clean up."
I toss some money on the table and Cass follows me out of the bar. I resist the urge to press Cass against Baby's frame and kiss him senseless. I don't want to scare him away.
The car ride back to the bunker is silent except for the hum of the radio. Once the Impala is safely parked inside the garage, Cass climbs out. The gorgeous angel walks briskly to the bathroom. I'm less than a step away the whole time. He stares at his reflection, turning his head side to side.
"I don't see the vampire, Dean."
"Guess I was seeing things."
Castiel turns to face me, his face twisting to reveal confusion.
"Do you need to get your eyes checked, Dean?"
I bite back a laugh as I take a step towards the handsome Celestial being.
"No."
If it's even possible, he becomes more confused by my comment and action.
"What are you doing, Dean?"
"Something I should have done a long time ago."
I tilt me head down, pulling him in for a kiss. He tastes amazing. I'm instantly addicted. He pushes away weakly.
"Dean, this is wrong."
"Then why don't you push me away?"
I bring my lips to his neck. Just like I pointed out, he doesn't push me away. Instead, he wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer. I can feel his nails through my jacket.
"Easy there, Cass."
He pulls my lips towards his. I give in to his kiss with a smirk. With the way he tries to slip his tongue into my mouth, i can tell it is definitely not his first time kissing someone. Jealousy ignites inside of me and I bite Cass' lip. He pulls back, shocked. His fingers brush against the impression my teeth left.
"You bit me, Dean."
"Got a problem with that?"
He shakes his head, a smile playing on his lips.
"Good. Now let's take this somewhere private."
