A/N: Not exactely sure why I wrote this. I assume it was because the thought of Kagome getting her driving test from Sesshoumaru made me laugh. I could see the stiff Inu Daiyoukai sitting in the front seat judging Kagome's every move and then as she rounded a corner too fast I could see him actually digging his claws into the dashboard. Anywho this is the first chapter and I hope you enjoy. Please Read and review.

Kagome sat in the front seat of Sango's small car, worrying about what was to come. Today was her driving test and thankfully Sango was free to drive her there, "Thank you again for driving me, not to mention letting me borrow your car for the test."

Sango smiled, "That's what friends are for, besides I had no other plans for today."

Kagome only nodded silently and continued to chew on her finger nails; it was a nervous habit that her mother constantly scolded her about. She sighed loudly and placed her hands under her thighs so she wouldn't bite them anymore, not that there was much nail to bite anyway.

"Stop being nervous, you are going to do fine," Sango said beside her, slanting a quick look her way.

Kagome gave a weak smile, "Easy for you to say, you're not taking the test."

Sango rolled her eyes, "You have been practicing for weeks now, if you fail now it isn't your skills that would be cause but the ignorant instructor."

Kagome shook her head at her friend's logic, "I have to pass this test, I'm the only one who is twenty-four and don't have their license, even Inuyasha has his license and he is a horrible driver."

"Don't be ridiculous, you are not the only one our age who doesn't have their license, besides the only reason Inuyasha got his license is because Kikyou was his instructor, which is really unfair by the way," Sango replied easing the small car through traffic.

"True, I hope I don't get her," said Kagome, shivering in distaste.

Sango agreed, "She would probably fail you just for laughs, and Kami knows she is still mad at you over Inuyasha."

It was Kagome's turn to roll her eyes, "That was ages ago, when we were practically kids, ancient history and all that."

"I know that, you know that, practically everyone else knows but she still views you as a threat," Sango pointed out.

"Still, even if I don't have her, it doesn't change the fact that I will have someone watching my every action, someone who could fail me at the drop of a hat," Kagome replied.

"Let's hope you have a nice old lady like I did," Sango said slowing down the car. She carefully pulled into the BMV lot and chose a spot that was closest to the building to park the car. Turning off the ignition she held out the keys for Kagome to take, when she hesitated, Sango grabbed her hand and placed the keys into her palm.

"You know what, I've changed my mind," Kagome said giving a weary look at the small building in front of her.

"Oh, no you don't," Sango warned opening her door and stepping out. Kagome watched as Sango walked around the car and opened the passenger side door, "Let's go."

Kagome bit her bottom lip and shook her head. Sango grabbed her arm and hauled her out of the car, "No backing down now, we are here so you might as well get it done and over with."

Kagome complied and started walking with Sango towards the building, as they entered Kagome felt her stomach tighten in fear. She wasn't ready for this, what if she failed?

She scanned the small area; there were about twenty plastic chairs against one wall, mostly unoccupied. One long counter separated the small room, with the workers standing behind it. There were various signs and posters lining the walls, some outlining laws, others with funny sayings. In one corner there was a Blue screen with a camera and the equipment that creates the licenses, and then there were a few computers where the written tests were taken.

Kagome walked over to the counter and addressed one of the workers, "Hi, I'm Kagome Higurashi and I scheduled a driving test for today."

The lady behind the desk smiled at her, "Yes, I remember you. Take a seat while I go and get the driving instructor."

The lady walked away and Kagome sat down next to Sango in one of the plastic chairs, "I really don't think I can do this."

"You'll pass, I know it," Sango reassured.

They lapsed into silence while they waited; leaving Kagome to imagine what kind of an instructor she was going to receive.

She had been deep in thought when a deep voice called her name, "Miss Higurashi?"

Kagome looked up and up and up and her jaw dropped, Sango leaned over and whispered in her ear, "At least it isn't Kikyou."

No, Kikyou wasn't her instructor, it was much worse; it was Inuyasha's older brother Sesshoumaru.
