Long ago, God created a box…a box with many locks…so it may not be opened by anyone but themselves. Everyone is given this sealed box from God and then they are born into the world. The content of the box is still hidden inside. Thus with their boxes still unlocked, two extraordinary young sisters are living in Tokyo…independently.

"A double cheeseburger set with coffee, and a chicken burger set with coke!" Kyoko cheerfully yelled back to her twin sister.

"Got it!" Tenshi replied. As the sisters worked to fulfill the order the two girls that were supposed to take their shift showed up.

"I'm sorry Kyoko I'm here you can go now."

"You too, Ten-ten."

"Thank you guy-" Kyoko was trying to be polite but Tenshi ran to the back while dragging her sister, shouting a quick thanks to the girls.

"That was rude Ten-ten!" Kyoko complained to the older twin as they entered the girl's locker room.

"Oh you know we would be late for Darumay if I hadn't besides I shouted thanks." Tenshi looked at her younger sister and smile brightly. Ten-ten couldn't help but smile back at her. She shook her head in fake disapproval.

"Where had all of the manners that Shou's parents taught you go?" She teased.

"Oh it's still here. I just learned to live a little after moving here." They quickly began to change but stopped half-way having overheard the other workers' conversation.

"From now on Shou is the only one for me."

"Shou? You mean the singer, that just recently became popular? Fuwa Shou?"

"Wait weren't you a Ren fan?"

"I was but Shou is cuter and a much better singers!"

'Yes! We won over a fan from 'that guy'' Kyoko thought as she looked at Tenshi in triumph. Tenshi smiled back at her sister though it did not quite reach her eyes. Unfortunately, Kyoko missed this little detail as she was far to happy with her beloved's achievement.

"But how could you say that? Ren's an actor how do you know if he can sing or not?"

"Of course he can't sing he's just a pretty face." Kyoko whispered to Tenshi causing her to chuckle and shake her head.

"Either way, I've converted to Shou! And my proof is this…!" The girl pulled out two life sized posters one of Shou. Kyoko and Tenshi turned around quickly and stared wide eyed at the posters. "I got this when I bought two copies of their second single!"

"But…but we also bought them… but we… didn't get…even one poster…" Kyoko stuttered as she stared at the posters. Tenshi turned her gaze to Kyoko worriedly. "We want them!" She shouted/asked the girl. The girl stared wide eyed and scared at the girl who had quickly left her twin's side to kneel in front of the poor unprepared employee, she held the posters close to her.

"But these are mine." This caused the girl to sink to ground in with grim expression. Tenshi crouched in front her with her own sympathetic expression and placed her hand on her head. Her sister could be a real drama queen, but an exceedingly cute one.

"When you bought the CD you got the receipt right? Why don't we just try to go back to the store to get one." This info seemed to shine a light through the cloud that was hovering over her. Tenshi knew what was coming next and prepared herself. Kyoko leaped up and with strength unimaginable for someone her size, grabbed Tenshi and their belongings and ran out the door. They jumped onto their bikes and rode in a blinding speed to the record store. All along the way Kyoko chanted Shou's name like a mantra while Tenshi just struggled to keep up with her sister's velocity. Kyoko ran into the store and glared at the clerk; a glare that was the definition of "if looks could kill".

"WE DIDN'T GET A SHOU POSTER!" Kyoko yelled. Tenshi calmly walked up to the clerk and held out her hand. The frightened clerk hand over the posters and Kyoko's glare disappeared. She smiled kindly to the man and bowed while saying her 'thanks'. Tenshi handed one of the posters to Kyoko, who grabbed it hugged it to herself with a 'chibi' expression. Tenshi smiled affectionately at the girl that shared her appearance. She loved seeing her so happy.

'Wow they're cute when they aren't using the glare from hell' the clerk and the people in the store all thought. The girls walked out of the store with smiles, that is until they checked the time. With the fear of being late striking them both, they took off at a speed that could have killed someone.

Tenshi's POV

"Well of course I want you both here on time, after all that's what we love about you two. But if you know you're going to be late, don't hurt yourselves to get here." Okami-san said. She's very kind, older woman who's treated us like we were her kids ever since we started working here. "Oh look at you two. You two are in no condition to work." When those words passed her mouth, Kyoko and I exchanged looks and got up to change.

"It's alright we can work." I said as I started to change.

"We have too." Kyoko added. Okami-san looked at us with concern and curiosity.

"We can't miss one day or we won't have enough to pay the rent." I explained

"You…You two live in such an expensive apartment? You have other jobs too…do you two live alone?" Her concern was touching, but no one knows that Hiro and Shou live with us…well most of the time. Lately they've been away more often than not, so we don't see them as much as we use to. Okami-san saw the way we just looked down and kept quiet. She sighed. "Well it's none of my business I guess. But whatever your reasons might be for coming to Tokyo after leaving middle school (Kyoko was a freshman and is now suppose to be a junior if she stayed in school but Tenshi's been tutoring her so she's pretty much caught up) and dropping in the middle of High school (I skipped a few grades when I was fifteen and was a junior when we left Kyoto, and since now that I'm 17, if I had stayed I would have graduated)…You both are working everyday and not even trying to finish school there's something wrong there. You come in everyday with messy hair, do you two ever want to dress up like other girls you age?" That question really hit us. Of course we want to dress up. Ever since we were little we liked fairy tales and anything magical. Kyoko was more girly than me but I still prefer to dress up my way. We loved the idea of being beautiful and living happily with a Prince charming. But as we got older I learned that you can't be beautiful for free and we just didn't have the money… yet, so the things we want can wait.

As we got home a surprise was waiting for us. The light was on in the window of our apartment room which only meant….

"He's back!" Kyoko squealed and ran up the stairs to our room not bothering with the elevator. I sighed and followed after her. I loved seeing her happy, I just wish it wasn't only because of him…

Kyoko POV

"SHOU!" I yelled as we opened the door. And there he was, my very own prince. Tenshi walked in calmly from behind me and dropped her bag next to him.

"Yo." She said as she crashed on the couch away from him.

"Hey Ten-ten." He replied absent mindedly, as if by habit before turning to me. "Don't yell so loud. What are you going to do if the whole neighborhood heard you." Shou scowled. He was always like this so I was use to it. Tenshi rolled her eyes but I smiled on.

"Well sorry that we missed you. It's been a while since we've seen our childhood friend." Tenshi teased. He just 'humph' and pouted while continuing what he was doing earlier.

"Well have you eaten? We'll make you something!" I offered hyper.

"Of course I've eaten it's eleven." Shou answered annoyed.

"Oh." I said dejectedly. "Well I called your cell and I normally get the machine so I worry if you're eating properly or not."

"Oh so it's my fault I'm busy! I don't have time to call you!" He shot back.

"Hey, we know it's not your fault but can't you at least leave a message saying hey I'm doing fine. Then maybe she won't worry so much!" Tenshi shot right back. When we were little all Tenshi and I ever did was agree with him but it seems that once we moved here she fought with him a lot. Nevertheless, I knew that at the end of the day they were good friends too. We all grew up together, and some bonds just can't be broken.

I sigh and mumbled about making tea as I got up to boil the water, leaving the glaring duo to work it out themselves. After a few minutes, Tenshi followed in after me and let Shou to his business.

"He has such an attitude sometimes!" She whispered harshly.

"I know." I replied calmly letting her vent some more.

"I mean seriously you were just worrying about him. You always have but he acts like it's a bad thing." I just nod and let her continue. "I mean he's the one that asked us to come. I could have stayed to finish school early, you would have only had two years left by now, why can't he be a little more grateful!" As she starts to cool down, the water reaches a boil and I take the kettle off the stove and pour it into the cups with the tea bags. Tenshi reluctantly helps me carry them in only to see him about to leave…

"Are yo going again?" I said panicing. He just got back. I saw that Ten-ten's eyes steel over a little.

"I just stopped by for a change of clothes." He explained.

"But it's been so long since we've all been together." Ten-ten said. Just as they were heading for the door, I ran for the refrigerator. Ten-ten caught on and yelled after him. "We have Culigo's pucchi pudding!" That stopped him right in his tracks.

Of course he came back in and as Shou took one bit, the smile that I love and remember came back.

Tenshi POV

At times like this, it reminds me why I came in the first place. He was finally smiling like before, right along side my sister, their smiles that reminded me of kids.

"Ah, I haven't eaten these in so long! You know I'm quite popular now. I can't just go out and buy these thing. And then I can't just have others get it for us, that's so uncool!"

"Not to mention rude." I muttered. Shou gave me a deadpanned expression but I just answered with a cheesy grin.

"Right, right." Kyoko smiled at Shou. I understand that she loved him back at Kyoto but he's change. Why can't she see that? "Oh and a girl at our work changed from being a fan of Ren to you!"

"What?" Shou shouted. "Yes!" He yelled as he punched the air. "I stole a fan from that guy!" He raise his hand towards me for a high-five, I rolled my eyes but indulged him nevertheless. He was kind of cute when he got like this.

"She also said you were cool and sang well." I added

"This is good." Shou said as he handed his cup to Kyoko to refill which she did without complaint. She won't argue about doing these things for him, she's just glad he's in a good mood again. "Pretty soon I will snatch the title of coolest celebrity from him." I take his trash to throw away and walked into the kitchen with Kyoko. We walked back out to see the TV on.

'Today we have on our show the apparently unbeatable and undeniably coolest guy in Show Biz, Tsuruga Ren!' the TV show hostess introduced. Right then and there Kyoko and I knew that Shou's good mood was out the door.

Kyoko's POV

Oh man! Why? Why did they have to have him on of all nights. I personally have nothing against him. But when Shou's around, I do. He totally just ruined my night.

'He's really popular' the hostess continued. I could see that Shou's grip on the remote was tightening and that he was shacking with anger.

"Uh how about I turn this off?" I reached for the remote but he moved it out of my reach. "Those are hired fans, they're so fake." I tried to calm him down. Tenshi never did much. She normally just lets him blow off the steam in silence.

'You have long legs,'

"He must be wearing those secret boot with 15 cm heels and then he hides it but altering the pants." I tried even though it's probably not true.

'And you have a small cute face.'

"He's head! His head is small not his face and besides his brain is probably small too so is you hit it would sound almost hollow!" I tried to reach for the remote again but he just moved it.

'We also had a survey and of women in their early twenties, they chose you as the sexist man alive!' Why? Why did this show hate me? And to make things worst Shou was number seven. Shou threw the remote and was stomping out the door.

"Shou! Don't worry about it, your only sixteen. Women in their twenties aren't interested in younger men. I'm sure if you were twenty you'd-"

"Are you saying I'm nowhere near him?" He cut me off.

"I didn't say that!" I argued

"Yes, you did! I want to be equal to him right now!" He yelled.

"Shou!" I yelled only to have the door slammed on my face. I cursed under my breath and slammed my fist on the door. I heard a sigh behind me. I walked back to the TV as Tenshi went and locked the door.

'The next question is what all your fans want to know. What is your ideal type of woman?' The hostess asked

'Let me see, tender…but with inner strength, I guess.' That was his answer. He made Shou leave, after I hadn't gotten a chance to see him in so long.

"Tsuruga Ren, I HATE YOU! You idiot!" I shouted

The next day during mine and Tenshi's break we decided to call Shou. But as usual all I got was a voice machine.

"Hey, Shou, look I'm sorry if anything I said last night upset you. You know I think you're way better than Ren Tsuruga. And all those girls are idiots if that can't see that, but I do. If I didn't believe you could be number one then I wouldn't be here. I hope you call back." I left it at that and gave the phone to Tenshi. She's in there for awhile with her back turned to me. She's was probably telling him some knew lyrics. Honestly, she should have tried to join his agency too. She's so talented, it's no wonder she and Shou got a long so well back in Kyoto. They had a common bond with their music and song writing. She steps out of the booth before I could think on it any further though.

"I hope that cheered him up." I sighed.

"Yeah me too…" Her eyes were still casted to ground. I moved to comfort her when an idea came to me. "I got it!" She looked up and titled her head in confusion. "Darumaya is closed today so we can go see him at the studio!"

"I'm not sure if that's - "

"Nonsense! He'll be happy to see us, I'm sure of it" I was determined to fix this.

As we walked up to the front of the studio we saw that the place was crowded! Girls where everywhere and chatter about Shou could be heard. We walked up to the door, guarded by two police officers.

"Ah we have a delivery for Shou." I stuttered, not likely that I had to lie. Tenshi remained silent next to me, probably more convincing at pretending that she didn't care to be there. Of course the vulture girls that were waiting around heard and asked to take it in for us. The police, not wanting a riot to start, pushed Tenshi and me inside.

"Make it quick!" as they closed the door. Once the door closed a smile broke onto my face.

"Success!" We reached the door with their names and was about to enter until we heard it. Something that would change us forever…

"Gez, what kind of message was that?" That was Shou. "'You know I think your better then Ren. All those other girls are idiots if they can't see that, I do.' Being her number one means nothing to me. And Ten-ten! She scolded me for not keeping in line. Reminding me that I had to keep my end of the deal. I need to just give her the money already and leave."

I was in shock…I turned my gaze to Tenshi but she was looking anywhere but me. And the conversation wasn't over…"How can you talk about them like that? Don't they earn your living expenses? You're quite harsh." A female voice entered the conversation.

"Aw, come on it's me." Shou said "I'm a prince. I never clean my room, wash my clothes or even cook for myself. How could I have lived alone in Tokyo? And I knew Tenshi would follow her anyways so I asked her too. How was I suppose to know that she would figure it out. Took her long enough though, she may not be as dim witted as her twin but she's still naïve."

"You're making them sound like they're housekeepers." The female voice said again.

"Not sounds like, they are. Have been since we were kids. Kyoko never got upset, no matter what I said. Sure, Tenshi argued with me now and then but only after she found out, in the end though I won." I could hear the smile on his face.

"Well you still owe her a fourth of your earnings from the last single. It would've been half it wasn't for that deal she made with you. 'Play along until she's paid, keep Kyoko happy.' You're not doing too good of job it seems."

"Pshh whatever. She always finds her own reasons to be happy." He's been acting this whole time. Tenshi's been having to deal with this betrayal by herself all this time. But she lied to me too. "Besides they did help at my parents' hotel, if it weren't for that I wouldn't have asked them to come. I didn't force them either. I gave them a choice." That's where it stung me the most. I let myself be used. I was so blind! Slowly one by one I could feel things click inside me and I knew I would snap any minute as I thought about what he's done. Yes, Tenshi lied to me too but I could see it clear as day as I stared at her that she felt guilty about it, but she only wanted me happy.

"Then why don't you let them go now, after all you can afford to leave on your own now. You could always send them those residual checks anyway." The lady asked

"Okay, okay, I'll let them go." Shou said "I'll send them back to Kyoto, provided…You take care of me instead of them." He were flirting with her!

"I'm already doing that. Whenever you run up your mouth, you say that it's the manger's job." She their manger!

"Because you're my type." It clicking more inside. Was this what Tenshi felt when she found out. No wonder she got those far away, cold looks. I always thought it was because she missed her best friend but… "But my parents were trying to get me to marry Kyoko or Tenshi and take over the hotel. That's beyond a joke. Some plain and boring women who doesn't even do their face." THAT WAS IT! I snapped… I grabbed the boxes and threw them as hard as I can in their direction. They moved in time but the corner of one glazed Shou's check.

"Kyoko, Ten-ten?" Shou asked confused. Tenshi was behind me.

"Are these the girls you were talking about?" The manager asked

"So you brought a plain and boring woman like me to Tokyo, BECAUSE I WAS CONVINENT!" I yelled the last part. I grabbed on to the chair because it was the closest to me. My head and my hair covered my eyes. I was trembling so it looked like I was crying. Tenshi just stood there with her head down so no one could see her expression.

"Stop crying. It's annoying." Shou complained. But I wasn't crying, oh no, I was laughing. Laughing as my little demons came out.

3rd person POV

All the thoughts about how nothing mattered to Kyoko more than Shou could be seen as little angels. Kyoko took all of them and threw them right back at Shou.

"You were everything to me! HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH MY LIFE! And not only my life BUT MY SISTER'S LIFE TOO! You… (a demon was chocking shou) I'LL GET MY REVENGE!"

Kyoko's POV

"Oh. You take revenge on me? How? In this situation, you can't even touch me." Apparently they called the guards. One was holding me back by both arms while the other simply was holding on to one of Tenshi's arms.

"No! Let me go! Don't get in my way!" I yelled as I struggled.

"It's useless. I'm going to shoot into stardom from now on. I'm going to be someone that a commoner like you can never reach." It's like he's asking me to kill him. "Of course, I'm never going back to your apartment. You want to get revenge, you'll have to go into showbiz." That…gave me an idea… "Well, I think that's a hopeless idea. Isn't that right Ten-ten?" When we heard nothing we looked in her direction. I hadn't gotten a good look at her since I stormed in. So what I saw startled me. She was glaring. A real glare. Not like the one I used at the music store yesterday. A glare that said I hate you and I will kill you if you come near me. All signs of the cute child like features she had seemed to vanish in this look.

"I expect my cut by tomorrow or I will call an attorney." She pulled her arm away from the officer. "We'll walk out peacefully, right Kyoko." All I could do was nod. She took my hand once the officer let me go. I turned back to Shou and gave him the same glare as Tenshi. She stopped too but didn't look back. "You're going to regret this." She walked us out before he could ask what she meant. She linked arms with me as we made our way out of the building. Her expression lighting up a little now that we were away from him "What do say we have a little celebration to our freedom?" She asked with a smirk.

"How?" I said. I'm going to have to get use to her without her innocent eyes, she didn't have to hide her hurt from me anymore.

"Hehe, you'll see." Her smirk grew wider.

Tenshi's POV

"Alright you two, all done." I opened my eyes to see my once black hair now the color of silver white with black highlights and was curled and flowed down my back. I always loved my hair so I didn't have the heart to cut it but the color now made me stand out, which is exactly what I wanted. I looked over at Kyoko to she her now short and chest nut colored hair. She looked so different but the color brought out the fires of determination in her eyes. She looked over at me and her eyes became like saucers, before twinkling in adoration.

"Ten-ten~. You look like a beautiful moonlight fair of the night!" I smiled, glad to see that despite everything, she still the sister I knew and loved. We linked arms and walked to the counter to pay. Once out of the salon we walked back to Darumaya where we rented a room after we sold our expensive apartment. We wouldn't need it now. We bought new clothes that WE wanted and agreed that tomorrow we'll start on our new goal. Instead of living our lives for 'them', we'll live our lives for ourselves. And the first thing on our to do list…Get revenge through showbiz.
