Ok ok... I know, I'm starting ANOTHER fanfic when I can't even finish the ones i already have... but I had to! It was either make this a novel, or make it a fanfic. Since I already have 3 novels I'm working on, I decided to make it a fanfic.

I BEG YOUR FORGIVENESS!!!! DX DX I KNOW I'M BAD!!!

But this takes place in the movie universe. It is about the male cheerleader (Chen) and an oc named Rayne White. I don't know if any of the other actual Ninjago characters will be in this, but they will be mentioned. Enjoyyyy!

~Lost~

"Ya ready?" Chen asked, getting out of his car.

"Yuppie!" replied Rayne, grabbing a backpack and getting out of the car as well.

Chen smiled and closed the door. The duo headed off into a forest.

Chen was a freshman college student. His older brother Samuel had forced him to go to college a year after he graduated high school. He was going to school to be a nurse, due to trauma he experienced in his past; he wanted to prevent other people from going through what he had gone through.

Rayne was a sophomore in high school. He, his older sister, and his younger brother were adopted when he was 11, because their mother was abusive. He had another brother who was adopted into a different family. Rayne suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder, which is a severe condition in which two or more distinct identities or personalities in a person take complete control of them. In other words, each different personatily is essentially a different person, each with different features, but all living in the same individual.

The two of them were going on a hike during spring break. They had been friends for a little over a year, when Rayne started going to school and got interested in cheerleading.

"Okay, where to first?" Chen asked, looking up from a map.

"Well... we could check out the lake..?" Rayne suggested.

"Sounds good to me. And it's.. uh..." Chen looked down at the map again.

"That way." Rayne laughed, pointing down a path.

"Right." Chen laughed as the duo walked down the trail.

{LINE SKIP CAUSE... YEAH}

Chen finished setting up the tent, sighing in content.

"Yo, Chen?" Rayne called.

Chen looked over to see Rayne on his laptop looking at something.

"Hm?"

"Severe earthquakes were charted for our area. 8.5 magnetude. Should we be worried?" Rayne fixed his glasses as he looked up at Chen.

"Nah, it'll be okay. Usually those charts are wrong, anyway. If you're really that worried, we can take precausions. How's that sound?" Chen asked.

"Mmm... Okay. Are you positive we shouldn't go home?" Rayne closed his laptop, still mildly worried.

"I'm positive. It'll be ok." Chen nodded in confermation as he faced the tent again to put stuff inside.

"Okay..."

Rayne stood and walked towards Chen. He froze in his tracks.

"Do you feel that..?"

"Hm," Chen crawled out of the small 2-person tent. "Oh yeah, I guess your radar was right about the earthquake. I wouln't call it an 8.5, but I-"

The ground suddenly began to shake rapidly. Chen and Rayne stumbled around and fell onto each other. Trees fell and the lake water sprayed everywhich way. The ground broke beneath them and they fell down into the earth. They screamed in fear as they fell for what felt like forever. They clung tightly to each other.

"Don't let go!" Rayne shouted.

"I wo-"

They were separated by a large falling boulder. Everything went dark.
