AN: I recently saw Kick Ass 2 and I really liked Night Bitch and I had hoped for happier ending for her and Dave, but since I didn't get it in the movie I decided to write it and it is just a drabble. It may not be great or anything, but I still hope some of you like it.
When Dave first decided he wanted to visit Night Bitch, well Miranda was her actual name he had recently learned, he wasn't sure if he should go as Dave or Kick Ass. He and Night Bitch had never seen each other out of the their costumes, but he really wanted to. After what happened with Katie, he didn't want to start another relationship with secrets and that is what he wanted, a relationship with Miranda. In the end he decided he would go as Dave and hopefully she wouldn't be too disappointed.
When he got to the hospital, after explaining who he was and listening to her tell him they couldn't be together, he knew he had to say something before she walked out of his life for good. "I understand why Kick Ass and Night Bitch can't be together; it is because they can be used against each other, but right now I am here with Miranda, not Night Bitch. I like you and I know you like me, or at least you could if you would just give me a chance."
"I don't think-" She started to say something, but Dave was quick to cut in.
"The reason we never took off our costumes was because we were afraid. I had just had my heart broken and I am sure you had your reasons as well and I can't blame you for being cautious. Still, just because we have been hurt in the past, it doesn't mean we shouldn't close ourselves off forever. You told me you wanted to help people, to make the world a better place, but if you can't make a life for yourself that's better then what is the point? So you can go ahead and try to push me away, but I am not going anywhere. Whether you like it or not I will always be here." Having said what he came to say, Dave sat down in the chair next to her bed and clicked on the T.V. It was pretty obvious he had no intentions of leaving anytime soon.
For a long while after Miranda didn't say anything, she just watched him. About an hour later she had made her choice, it was something her sister would've told her to do. Even though she was in pain, she lifted her hand and extended it. "Hi, my name is Miranda, what's yours?"
A smile crept up on his face. "Hi Miranda, I'm Dave and it is such a pleasure to meet you."
