Please Note That I May Have Something Spelled Wrong. Please Don't Try To Correct Me, I'd Probably Be Too Lazy To Change It Anyways.
~ Prologue 1 ~
The empty bluish sky hovers over the small, open field of grass, surrounded by a lush green forest that would soon shift into a fiasco rusty golds, caramel browns, and pale reds. The winds seem to be adjusting to the gradually dropping temperature, for it is also growing cold. Few leaves decide to pluck themselves off of their branches, and they ride the wind currents like the waves of the ocean.
The girl lays there, motionless and unaffected by the cool winds and the leaves that cautiously fall on her face. Sometimes, her black, silk-like hair will lightly bounce up and back down to the ground, as if it also wants to fly away. The light skinned Adaline Bellerose also wants to fly away, not from the meadow, but everything else outside of it.
Adaline has always lived in the small, secluded cabin near the woods. It was the only place she had been allowed to be in, at least. Adaline had been removed from her previous hometown - she doesn't remember the name - and she hasn't seen it ever since. Sometimes she'll get a knock on the door, and all she'll find is a basket with no note and food, not a single soul to see. Adaline can't explain how that happens, but it happens somehow, whether it's witchcraft or something else.
Whatever the reason, Adaline won't complain. She should at the very least be grateful. Adaline simply stares into the now silver-hued sky, still paralyzed by her lack of sleep to do anything. Staring blankly at the sky that dipped in gray, Adaline drifts into a long nap, having her doubts being blown away by soft, early-autumn winds.
The wind has ceased. All there is now is a dim-lit forest, abundant in trees and wildlife This isn't any ordinary forest. In fact, it's Whispy Woods Forest! Adaline was having another 'Dreamland Dream'.
Adaline has read about the elusive Dreamland, with its wide variety of creatures and people. She's read about a tyrant named King Dedede and his schemes to destroy Kirby, the hero of these fun-filled tales.
Adaline looks with her eyes in her dream as she contemplates the reason why these dreams keep occurring. She's been having these dreams more and more recently, but they didn't usually last long. In fact, by the time she feels the light droplets make contact to her face, she jumps up to a sitting position.
