I staggered to the kitchen
Wine - an escape, a ladder, a slide, a dive
The only thing that could ever numb the pain, and sometimes it could bring pain
Jacob hated it so i loved it, I hated jacob for this mess so he loved me, the pain would bring me back to that bottle
And so it would start again
I stumbled into his arms every time. Damn! Why did it hurt so bad. I needed comfort – cassie!
I needed to stop for her, She needed me and I needed her
I set down the bottle
