Kiba winced and lightly touched his burned skin. "Ouch, ouch, ouch!" He winced again, slowly pulling his fingers away.
He blinked as a fully covered Shino held a bottle labeled 'Aloe Vera' up to his face. "Here." He stated flatly.
He growled and grabbed the bottle roughly. He cringed, his reddened arms stinging from the sudden movement. Damn, I hate sunburn! Kiba growled and looked down at the bottle.
"What are you expecting me to do with yogurt?" He questioned, his eyebrows held high and his dark eyes watching the taller one with question.
Shino sighed, rolling his eyes behind his sunglasses. "Aloe Vera is a medicine too, not just a food." He explained. "You smear it on infected areas and sunburn. It helps heal…"
Kiba blinked, slowly processing the information handed to him. "So… I'm going to put yogurt on my sunburn?" He asked.
He watched Shino fidget slightly, looking as if he wanted to hit him. He sighed again, looking down at him in annoyance. "No, it's not yogurt, it's medicine."
"But, it looks like yogurt! Look, even the bottle is shaped like yogurt bottles!" Kiba pointed out.
"It's medicine." Shino stated again, his calmer and quieter demeanor coming back.
The Inuzuka boy rolled his eyes and popped open the top. "'Kay than. Ah, could you put some on my back?" He asked, shifting so his burned back faced Shino.
The Aburame boy grabbed the bottle from him and knelt down.
Kiba shivered as the Aloe Vera was applied to his burned skin, but gently sighed as the sting from his sunburn started to disappear. He turned around quickly and stole the bottle from Shino and applied the rest quickly on his limbs and chest.
He let out another content sigh as the medicine started to work.
Shino shoved his hands into his pockets and started to walk away.
"O-Oi!" Kiba yelled at him, quickly getting to his feet, "You don't have to leave! You still have to help me with some other areas!" He said quickly.
Shino glanced at him, "Like where?" He said in a monotone.
Kiba sneered, "Well, I was trying to get an all-over tan…" He implied, his fingers pointed to his hips. He laughed quickly to himself as he watched Shino turn around, his shoulders hunched.
"You're sick." He said and walked away.
Kiba continued to laugh and slapped his knee in amusement. He winced, regretting the action already.
"Damn sunburn…" He muttered painfully and started to apply the gel on his knees and legs.
Author's Note: In Japan, they have Aloe Vera yogurt, just incase you didn't get the yogurt joke. xD
