Caroline awoke in her bed vaguely remembering the dream she just had. She remembered that Klaus

was in it and he kept running towards something but she was not sure what it was. She did not know

why she even dreamed of Klaus in the first place, she definitely does not have feelings for him. At least

that is what she keeps telling herself. She decided she would get up and get ready for the day but she

had this nagging feeling in the back of her mind. She tried not to dwell on it but she could not shake this

overwhelming urge to call Klaus. She knew he would answer because of his weird obsession with her but

what would be her excuse for calling. She could not let him know she had a dream about him because it

would just stroke his already huge ego.

Caroline tried to distract herself by cleaning the house, she cleaned her room, the kitchen and the living

room. She was dancing to Billy Jean by Michael Jackson when she heard a knock on the front door. She

quickly turned off the music and rushed to answer the door. When she opened it no one was there but

she did find a note. It read Caroline, while I have seen you dance before I have never seen you so relaxed

and at ease while doing so. You're so beautiful and I find myself wanting to paint you but not from

memory, would you do me the extraordinary honor and pose for me? You are my muse Caroline, I have

been unable to paint anything else. If you accept my proposal then I promise I won't bother you

anymore.

She did not know what to think of that! Klaus has always been really sweet to her but what was

supposed to do. She could not pose for him could she, what would Elena think about the whole thing. It

did feel good knowing that Klaus wanted to paint her and thought she was beautiful. She was so used to

everyone fawning all over Elena, no one ever chose her. Is it wrong to want to be someone's first choice,

someone's priority. It was not her fault that the one man that put her before anyone else was the

resident big bad. Why did her life have to be so damn complicated. If she had met him in any other

circumstance, she would have fallen for him instantly. He can be quite the charmer when he wants to

be.

She decided she would go and see what Klaus wanted her to do because she had never been anyone's

muse before. Hell, she may even enjoy it!
